CFFIL CH47
The Little Lamb was unaware that he had been treated like a pan-fried bun the night before. He just thought there were a lot of bugs in the mountains and had a few bites on his body. When he got up to get dressed in the morning, he felt a bit of pain at the base of his thighs. He questioned the man suspiciously, but Seth’s face was calm.
“I was drunk last night and went to bed very early. Maybe there were some bugs.”
The Little Lamb was thus tricked, all muddled.
Going down the mountain, it was still the man who carried him.
When Auntie Julie and the others saw them, the Little Lamb was a little embarrassed, but thinking about his sore calves on the way down, he quickly adapted well again, resting his head on the man’s shoulder with a clear conscience.
Comfy~
A few days after they returned, Auntie Julie and the others were about to leave. Usually, they would just pack their bags and go, not even saying goodbye to Seth, let alone being seen off at the airport.
They believed that life should be free, and no one should be a tie.
But this year was different.
There was an added clingy Little Lamb.
“Don’t cry.”
Seth helplessly wiped Fang Chen’s tears. “We’ll go over when you have your vacation.”
The Little Lamb clutched Auntie Julie’s sleeve, his eyes red. “Then when we have our wedding, will you come back?”
Julie smiled. “Of course… a wedding?”
She reacted, suddenly stunned, and turned to look at Seth.
Seth hadn’t expected the Little Lamb to say that either. For a moment, his heart was ecstatic. “Baby, you’re willing to marry me?”
Fang Chen didn’t pay any attention to Seth at all. He sniffled and gave Auntie Julie a hug.
“I’ll miss you.”
Julie patted his back. “Baby, I’ll miss you too. You’re welcome to come visit us.”
After saying goodbye to Julie and the others, the Little Lamb sat back in the car, still looking gloomy.
Seth couldn’t help himself and said eagerly, “Baby, what did you mean just now? A wedding? Where do you want to have the wedding?”
Fang Chen snorted, “Did I say that?”
The man frowned slightly. “Baby…”
“I’m sleepy!” Fang Chen pulled his jacket over his head, his voice muffled. “You drive. I’m going to sleep for a bit.”
Seth paused for a moment, barely managing to hold back from speaking again.
But for some reason, Fang Chen seemed to be angry with him. After returning from the airport, he barely paid any attention to Seth. When the man spoke to him, he acted as if he hadn’t heard. At night, he would wrap himself tightly in the blanket, resolutely not letting the man touch him.
Seth endured it for one day, but he couldn’t stand it on the second day.
He forcefully held the person in his arms and coaxed him, “Why are you throwing a tantrum with me? Is it because of the wedding? Baby, I don’t want to force you. If you don’t want to get married, then forget it.”
Who would have thought that after hearing the man’s words, Fang Chen would get even angrier? He even pushed him hard, forcefully breaking free from the man’s embrace. His beautiful eyes were filled with anger as he glared fiercely at Seth, then returned to the bedroom without a word.
The next second, the sound of the lock clicking was heard.
Well, this time it was a real “separation.”
The man stared at the tightly shut bedroom door and gritted his teeth.
.
In the bedroom.
“You’re giving each other the cold shoulder?” Jamin advised him on the phone. “It’s better to talk things out when you have a problem. This is so damaging to your relationship.”
Fang Chen’s voice was very low. “How am I supposed to bring this up? His head is full of ‘marriage, marriage’ all day. Doesn’t he know that you have to propose before you get married? I’m not saying I need some grand surprise, but at least we could go out for a nice dinner, right? Take a couple of pictures? Are we just supposed to wake up in the morning, wash our faces, and go get the certificate?”
Jamin was at a loss for words. “That’s true…”
Hearing Jamin say this, Fang Chen got even more annoyed, rolling around on the bed.
Jamin thought for a moment. “Then why don’t you give him a hint? If you’re too embarrassed to say it directly, you can at least hint at it, right? Otherwise, Seth might not think of it.”
Fang Chen hesitated for a moment. “That’s true.”
After hanging up the phone, Fang Chen dawdled for a while before opening the bedroom door and walking out.
The man hadn’t returned to the guest room but was sitting on the living room sofa. The moment he heard the door, he immediately looked up and stood up. “Baby.”
Fang Chen was taken aback. “Why are you still sitting here?”
Seth didn’t look well. He couldn’t tolerate his Little Lamb ignoring him for a single second. He strode over, held the person in his arms, and turned his head to kiss his ear. This was the Little Lamb’s sensitive spot. Every time, just a light touch of his lips was enough to make the Little Lamb melt into a piece of sugar cake in his arms.
“Baby, what did I do to make you unhappy? Just tell me directly, okay?” the man said in a low voice. “Whatever you say, I’ll change it.”
Except in bed.
Fang Chen’s heart softened.
He pouted. “It’s just that, about the wedding…”
Before he could finish, Seth immediately interrupted him. “We won’t get married. Baby, I’ve thought about it. I shouldn’t have kept bringing it up before. It put too much pressure on you. If you don’t want to get married, then forget it. We won’t get married.”
Fang Chen, “…”
He was so angry he almost laughed. He asked Seth back, “Really? You really don’t want to marry me?”
The man fell silent.
How could he not want to? He dreamed of it.
He wanted Fang Chen to be his legal partner. He wanted to have a grand wedding, to hug and kiss Fang Chen in front of everyone.
Fang Chen snorted and didn’t continue the topic. He kicked the man’s calf. “I’m hungry. I want a midnight snack.”
Seth immediately said, “I’ll go make it.”
It was almost eleven o’clock. Late at night, the kitchen was lit by a dim little lamp, the light yellowish, exuding a warmth.
Fang Chen sat at the dining table, watching the man busy in the kitchen.
Before this, he had never thought that he would build a family with another person, that this person would be unconditionally good to him, tolerate him. Even if he had a sudden whim to go hiking and see the stars at midnight, or to have hot pot in the early morning, he would only nod in agreement.
Seth cooked a bowl of small wontons and brought it over.
He had made them before and frozen them in the fridge. He was afraid Fang Chen would get impatient waiting, so cooking this would be faster.
The steaming hot wontons were brought to him. Seth also poured him a glass of juice. “Slow down, it’s hot.”
Fang Chen stared at the bowl of wontons and suddenly felt his nose tingle. After a few seconds, he looked up at Seth, his eyes a little red.
These past two days, Seth had been driven crazy by the Little Lamb’s emotions. Now seeing that he was about to cry again, he felt as if his heart was about to be torn to pieces.
He went over and gently hugged the youth. “Why are you about to cry all of a sudden, hmm?”
Fang Chen sniffled.
He thought, forget it. Seth is so good. Why should I be angry with him? Anyway, I’ve already decided to marry him, haven’t I?
He extended a hand. The man understood and immediately squatted down, letting the Little Lamb wrap his arms around his neck.
Fang Chen whispered, “If it’s a wedding, I want it to be by the sea. We don’t need too many people, just parents, friends, for everyone to have a lively time together.”
Seth’s voice was a little hoarse. “Okay.”
Fang Chen blinked and mumbled, “You haven’t said it today.”
Hmm?
What??
The man was stunned for a moment, then suddenly reacted. The corner of his lip curled up slightly as he turned his head to kiss the Little Lamb’s cheek.
“Fang Chen, I love you.”
The Little Lamb finally smiled, his eyes curving.
After Fang Chen finished the bowl of wontons, the man carried him for a hot bath, then tucked the Little Lamb into bed and lay down himself.
Fang Chen thought for a moment and didn’t say anything about kicking him out.
Seth held him with one arm, pressing him against his chest, feeling the Little Lamb’s breath and heartbeat in sync, and felt a sense of satisfaction he had never experienced before growing within him.
In the end, he still couldn’t help but ask, “Baby, why were you unhappy?”
Fang Chen closed his eyes and played dead.
Seth was a little helpless. He pulled the blanket up a little higher, held the Little Lamb, and also closed his eyes.
.
The next day, Fang Chen went out to eat with Jamin and told him about the wedding.
Jamin chewed on his burger. “The seaside is great. Beautiful, makes for great photos!”
Fang Chen smiled, his eyes curving. “Then you must come.”
Jamin blinked. “Don’t worry. Seth’s club will definitely have a lot of people going. How could I miss this opportunity?”
Fang Chen, “…”
He pretended to be furious. “Can’t you just come to wish me happiness?”
Jamin grinned. “Of course, of course. But weren’t you giving him the cold shoulder just two days ago?”
Fang Chen sighed. “Forget it. Like you said, the cold shoulder hurts the relationship.”
Jamin nodded in agreement. “And it hurts your butt.”
Fang Chen was speechless.
He was turning into a dirty little lamb.
Half of it was because of Seth, and the other half of the credit must go to Jamin.
After they finished eating, Fang Chen was about to call Seth to pick him up, but Jamin held his arm tightly. “What’s the hurry? It’s still early. Let’s go to the mall. I want to buy some clothes.”
“Now?”
“Yeah, let’s go!”
Fang Chen was thus half-dragged, half-pulled by Jamin to the mall, accompanying him as he tried on clothes one by one. He was tired and sleepy and wanted to leave several times, but was dragged back by Jamin.
Looking at Jamin with his big and small bags, Fang Chen sighed. “That’s about enough, right? The mall is about to close. It’s not like I’m getting married tomorrow. You don’t have to be in such a hurry.”
Jamin glanced at the time and murmured, “It’s about time.”
Fang Chen said, “Huh? What?”
“Nothing,” Jamin said quickly. “Let’s go, let’s go. Aren’t you tired? I’ll call a taxi to take you back.”
“Don’t. I’ll have Seth come pick me up and drop you off on the way.”
Just as Fang Chen took out his phone, Jamin immediately pressed his hand down. “Really, no need. Don’t bother. I’ll get a taxi and take you.”
Fang Chen was silent.
He narrowed his eyes and looked at Jamin suspiciously. “Why are you being so weird today?”
Jamin coughed. “Am I?”
Before Fang Chen could say anything else, he grabbed him. “Let’s go, I’ll take you home.”
Fang Chen was thus sent back by Jamin in a muddle.
When they got to the apartment building, he finally understood what was wrong. He turned to look at Jamin. “How do you know I live here?”
These past few times they had gone out, he had always sent Jamin home first, and Jamin had never asked him where he lived.
As soon as he said this, Jamin froze, smiled awkwardly, and then, throwing caution to the wind, gave Fang Chen a push forward. “Hurry up and go upstairs, dear. Have a wonderful evening.”
Hearing this, Fang Chen was even more reluctant to go up.
Heaven knows how many condoms Seth had prepared for him at home.
The Little Lamb only falls into traps, not other kinds of sheaths.
He squatted on the ground like a spoiled child. “What’s going on? I’m not going back until you tell me.”
Jamin threw up his hands. Just as he was about to say something, he saw a figure emerge from behind him. He immediately said, “Fine, then you can stay here. I’m leaving, bye.”
Fang Chen was stunned. Before he could react, Jamin turned around and walked away without looking back.
“Jamin—”
Suddenly, someone hugged him from behind, lifting the Little Lamb up entirely.
He didn’t even have to turn his head to know it was Seth.
He snorted irritably. “What scheme are you two plotting?”
Seth held him tight. “You’ll know when you get back.”
Hmm?
A flash of insight went through Fang Chen’s mind. He suddenly realized something, subconsciously clutching Seth’s clothes, and even stammered, “You, you, you…”
The man turned him around, holding him face-to-face, and lowered his head to kiss him gently.
Seth rarely kissed so gently. His lips touched his lightly, without even using any force, but Fang Chen inexplicably felt his waist go soft, as if he were melting. It was a good thing the man was holding his waist, otherwise Fang Chen would have long since fallen to the ground with weak legs.
Just like this, he kissed the Little Lamb intermittently, while holding him and walking towards the apartment.
After getting out of the elevator and entering the apartment, the man suddenly pressed him against the door panel, the force of the kiss gradually increasing.
So fierce…
Fang Chen’s eyes widened slightly.
After getting used to the gentle, lapping-water-like kiss just now, he couldn’t quite accept this kind of storm. It felt like even his tongue was about to be swallowed. His lips were rubbed red and swollen. He couldn’t take it anymore and tried to pull back, but behind him was the door panel. It was simply unavoidable. He could only be forced to accept this overly fierce kiss.
Why is he like this?
Fang Chen thought with some grievance.
Is he part dog? How can he change faces so quickly?
By the time Seth finally let him go, he loosened his grip slightly, and the Little Lamb slid down the door panel, unable to even stand.
The man couldn’t help but laugh a little, but he didn’t hold him again. Instead, he took his hand. After the Little Lamb had recovered for a while, he led him inside.
The room had been redecorated.
The first thing that met his eyes was an extreme red. He didn’t know how many roses Seth had picked to be able to make the petals like a carpet, covering every room and every corner.
So…
So tacky.
Fang Chen’s first reaction was how much it resembled a certain domineering CEO novel from a certain website, or maybe all rich people liked to do these kinds of gaudy things.
But soon his tears fell again.
Only because as he walked further in, he saw a ten-tier cake made of US dollars. Each tier was made of rolled-up banknotes.
This… this was too awesome.
He loved rich people.
Fang Chen, with red eyes, circled the US dollar cake. “Hubby, I love you.”
Seth’s lips curved.
The next second, the Little Lamb’s face turned serious. “Didn’t you say I’m in charge of the money? Did you get my approval to use so much cash?”
Seth, “…”
But the Little Lamb soon laughed again, lunged forward, and jumped onto the man, wrapping his arms around his neck, his two legs clamping around the man’s waist.
“Just kidding, I’m not angry. I’m very, very happy. Seth, is this a surprise for me?”
His heart going up and down like this, Seth really couldn’t take it. He grunted in agreement and kissed the Little Lamb’s chin. “I also baked a cake. Does baby want to try it?”
“Okay.”
Seth was about to put him down, but Fang Chen held onto him tightly, not letting go, insisting that the man carry him.
Seth let out a chuckle. “Clingy thing.”
Despite saying that, he himself was reluctant to let go. He carried the Little Lamb just like that, stepping on the rose petals on the floor, and went to the island counter to get a tray.
On it were baked cupcakes, each with a different cream shape on top.
Fang Chen leaned his head over to look and pointed. “Is this a little lamb?”
Seth’s lips curved. “I made it look very realistic, didn’t I?”
Actually, it didn’t. He only guessed it was a lamb because of the two horns on its head.
The next one…
Fang Chen racked his brains. “A wolf?”
Seth bent down and kissed his face. “Looks like my skills are not bad.”
Fang Chen twitched the corner of his mouth.
It was just a black lump. He could only guess it out of sheer affection.
Fang Chen didn’t want to rack his brains guessing the rest. He just reached out his hand. “I’ll just eat it.”
Seth smiled, placed Fang Chen on a nearby chair, and handed him the tray.
Fang Chen casually picked one up, ate the cream on top, and was about to bite into the cake underneath when he suddenly froze.
Embedded in the cake was a beautiful silver ring.
Seth said in a low voice, “Looks like we have a telepathic connection. Baby just casually picked one up and there was a ring.”
Fang Chen raised an eyebrow.
He put it down, picked up another cake, broke it open, and a small diamond one fell out. He picked up another, broke it open, and a square diamond one fell out…
Seeing the man’s face get darker and darker, Fang Chen quickly picked up the first ring and handed it to Seth. “It’s so beautiful. I like this one.”
Seth took a deep breath, took the ring, and knelt down on one knee before Fang Chen.
Even though he knew what was about to happen, Fang Chen inexplicably became nervous in that instant. He unconsciously straightened his back, his throat a bit dry. He couldn’t help but lick his lips.
The man looked at him deeply. It seemed that from their very first meeting, in that absurd beginning, through two masks, Seth’s gaze had never left him.
“Fang Chen, I have never liked anyone else but you. Later I thought, maybe from our first meeting, my heart softened for you. I wanted to coax you, to hold you in the palm of my hand.”
“I had never thought before how there could be someone like you in this world, so fragile and breakable, yet living with such tenacity.”
“Fang Chen, baby, you know how many times… I wanted to lock you up. I hate anyone seeing you, but I can’t bear to. You should be a little lamb that can run freely under the sun, not one locked in a cage by me.”
The man rarely spoke so much at once. His voice was a bit hoarse, his tone low. “Baby, I love you. You know I have so many flaws. I’m greedy, domineering, arrogant, and have a strong desire for control. But I swear, in this life, I will never do anything to hurt Fang Chen, not even a single bit.”
“Marry me, okay?”
Fang Chen felt that the man’s voice was too hoarse. He didn’t know if his eyes were red, but at this moment he had no time to care about that, because he was already crying his eyes out.
Wiping his tears, he choked out, “What are you doing? Just the last sentence would have been enough. All this preamble, you just wanted me to cry, didn’t you?”
Seth’s lips curved. “Baby, hold out your hand first.”
“I’ll put the ring on you, then I’ll coax you.”
Fang Chen sniffled, held out his hand. The next moment, the ring was on his hand. It was a plain, simple band, but if you looked closely, you would see that the silver band had all sorts of hidden patterns, which looked like water ripples under the light.
He murmured, “It’s so beautiful.”
The next second, the man stood up, held him in his arms, and lowered his head to kiss his eyes, kissing away the teardrops on his eyelashes.
“Don’t cry, good boy.”
Fang Chen buried his face in the man’s chest muscles and said in a muffled voice, “Did Jamin tell you?”
Seth was helpless. “I contacted him. I wanted him to help me keep you occupied for a while. But he also told me that you were throwing a tantrum recently because of this, hmm? So silly. I was just waiting for the custom-made rings. How could I miss such an important ceremony?”
Fang Chen mumbled, “I didn’t know.”
“It’s my fault. I made our baby unhappy.”
Seth immediately apologized, lifted the Little Lamb’s chin, and planted a couple of kisses on his cheeks.
Fang Chen’s face was covered in either his own tears or the man’s saliva. He thought that if he were really a little lamb, he would probably have been sucked into a mango pit by Seth by now.
He struggled to speak. “Where’s your… ring?”
“Hmm?”
“Shouldn’t it be a pair of rings?”
Seth had completely forgotten about his own. Hearing Fang Chen say this, he remembered, turned around, took out a box from a drawer, and poured it onto the table with a clatter.
Looking at the table full of rings, the corner of Fang Chen’s mouth twitched.
Each one matched the ring in each cupcake. Because he didn’t know which one the Little Lamb would pick, each one was part of a pair.
Seth rummaged through the pile of rings, picked out the one that matched Fang Chen’s, and with a smile, handed it to him. “Baby, put it on for me.”
The Little Lamb took the ring and slowly slid it onto the man’s finger. The moment it was on, the man suddenly grabbed the Little Lamb’s hand and, with a slight pull, drew him into his arms.
Their two hands, wearing the rings, were clasped together.
The man turned his head and kissed the hollow of the Little Lamb’s neck, sniffing delicately, and murmured, “I love you so much, baby, wife.”
Fang Chen’s face reddened at his words. He gave him a light push. “I’m going to take a shower.”
Seth quickly said, “Wife, I’ll wash you.”
“No need.”
Fang Chen said quickly, “I can do it myself.”
The man feigned deafness. “Don’t worry, wife. I’ll definitely wash you clean.”
“Can’t you hear me! I said no—”
“Let’s go, wife. I’ll use the jasmine-scented body wash for you today. You’ll smell so good.”
“…”
The Little Lamb was thus carried directly into the bathroom by Seth. The shower head was turned on, and water poured down from above, immediately turning his little curls into a scruffy little dog.
Foam covered his whole body, and the scent of jasmine filled the entire room.
Then, the Little Lamb watched as Seth took off the ring he had just put on.
His eyes widened, and he grabbed the man’s arm. “What are you doing, taking it off! What do you mean?”
The man’s action had been completely subconscious. Hearing this, he paused for a moment and coaxed him, “Be good, let’s take it off first. Otherwise, it will hurt you.”
What…
It wasn’t long before Fang Chen understood what Seth meant.
If you were wearing a ring on your finger, it would indeed be easy to scratch someone, especially since that place was so fragile.
Fang Chen held onto the bathroom wall tiles, feeling as if his legs were made of jelly. He tilted his head back, his eyes extremely red.
Seth suddenly thought of something, withdrew his fingers, and lowered his head to kiss the Little Lamb’s fragile neck, whispering, “Do you like beads? I can get surgery.”
What…
The Little Lamb’s toes curled, and tears flowed uncontrollably.
Do you have to play with the Little Lamb until he’s broken!
