“Alright! Another allied warship shot down, the enemy boss is amazing!” Qin Luo exclaimed, joining the excitement and acting as a live commentator. “This enemy commander, who looks like Captain Liu De, has truly touching commanding abilities.”

Some people in the live stream were already suspicious, but when Qin Luo specifically named him, the comment section immediately exploded.

“I think so too, right? Otherwise, why did he break down and stomp his feet when he found out he was being live-streamed?”

“One, it’s Liu De himself. Two, his command is genuinely terrible.”

“Already reported to the military’s public bulletin board. Whether he’s Captain Liu De or not, he dared to shell a military academy spaceship; he’s dead!”

“I’ve contacted the Central Military Academy, the Academy Star Garrison Base, and the Academy Star Police Department. Anyone will do, just come rescue them quickly!”

Qin Luo scanned the direction of the comments, then looked at the surging online viewership of eighty million, and silently thought, ‘Sister-in-law is amazing.’

Rong Shi, who seemed like such a proper person, had such wild tactics. Only he could come up with such a damaging move. It was a special move for teasing grandsons, not something ordinary people could pull off.

In the surveillance footage, Liu De, upon realizing he was being live-streamed, collapsed on the spot and quickly left. But Ares seemed to have inherited Rong Shi’s true teaching; wherever Liu De went, the camera would cut to him, completely manipulating the enemy warship’s control system.

Rong Shi: “No need for surveillance in the restroom.”

Ares: “Okay, then I’ll point the camera at the restroom door and wait for him.”

Pilots/Audience: “…” AI boss, you’re really something.

Perhaps the live stream affected morale, or the repeated particle cannon bombardments caused too much loss, but the enemy’s attack frequency plummeted. Qin Luo seized the opportunity to interview Song Yu.

“Brother, what do you think of the opponent’s strength?”

Song Yu: “Low intelligence.”

Qin Luo: “Then where do you think they got the confidence to attack us?”

Song Yu: “Most fools think they are normal people.”

Qin Luo nodded, then said to the camera: “The boss’s summary is very concise and accurate. Let’s go interview the next person.” He walked up to Rong Shi: “Brother, what do you think of the opponent’s weaponry?”

Rong Shi: “Not bad.”

“Could you elaborate?” Qin Luo asked, then looked at the live screen. “It’s a rare opportunity; everyone quickly open your notebooks and take notes.” The comment section was flooded with “hahahahas”—

“Notebooks are open, waiting obediently.”

“Awww, is this content I can listen to for free? If the boss has more to say, please say more!”

“Holy crap, I’m on the street right now and panicking. I just found a store to sit and wait for class.”

“Chairman Rong’s dad is going to give a lecture! I’m going to call my friends over!”

Rong Shi raised a finger, and a hovering virtual screen window appeared in the center, showing a 3D exploded view of the enemy warship.

“This is the K811 produced by Gu Corp, commonly known as the ‘Lurker.’ It’s a second-generation model, generally used for tracking and assassination. Its fuselage material is special, and its anti-detection capability is very strong… The cost is high. The military provided some core technology, and when approving the batch number, the military restricted its sales channels, only allowing internal military procurement and no export.”

Qin Luo was a bit surprised. He had expected Rong Shi to say something disparaging, but he didn’t expect him to actually know so much! “So, only the military possesses this model; space pirates can’t buy it with money?”

Rong Shi: “Who would dare sleep peacefully if such military equipment was provided to space pirate groups?”

“That’s true,” Qin Luo said deliberately, “Then what’s the background of these people? I’m suddenly confused.”

Rong Shi: “From the equipment, it’s definitely connected to the military. However, their combat level is even worse than space pirates, which is indeed puzzling.”

Qin Luo: “…” Every time he criticized, it was right on the mark. I’m impressed.

The number of viewers in the live stream surged to 130 million, and the comments were all discussing this matter. “It seems it’s true. That Captain Liu something, is he going to rebel?!”

“The military must hand over this Liu De and give a formal explanation for this attack, otherwise, this page won’t be turned!”

“The military actually turned around and attacked its own people, that’s terrifying, isn’t it?”

“Can someone confirm, is what the Chairman said correct? How does he know everything?”

“An engineer who’s worked in military factories for ten years says this model is indeed exclusive to the military and has never been publicized externally. Its appearance probability is extremely low. The fact that he understands it so thoroughly, this freshman’s knowledge base is incredible.”

In just a few words, Rong Shi had basically cemented the enemy’s identity. Liu De’s legion was already in chaos. Liu De locked himself in the restroom, sitting on the toilet and furiously shouting at his subordinates on the virtual screen: “Why is the live stream still on?!”

His subordinate kept wiping sweat, his expression flustered and anxious. “Can’t get it down, really can’t get it down. We’ve tried everything, but we can’t hack in!”

Liu De: “Useless! You can’t even hack into the military academy forum, what good are you to me?!”

His subordinate felt guilty, his voice growing fainter: “But, maybe they did something. I’ve never seen such a high defense system—”

Listening to the sarcastic remarks in the live stream, Liu De’s head ached with anger, and he roared: “What about the AI?! Hasn’t it been expelled yet?!”

His subordinate swallowed nervously. “We’re trying. I suspect they implanted a virus in us beforehand, otherwise, our system wouldn’t be so easily invaded. The AI practically let them in without resistance.”

Liu De was furious: “Before control is lifted, make everyone communicate using text! Don’t expose any more information!”

His subordinate’s eyes lit up: “Don’t worry, I’m in the restroom too right now.”

Just as he said this, a gentle male voice suddenly rang in both their ears.

“Dear user, the scientific time for using the restroom is five minutes. You have been on the toilet for thirteen/eight minutes. It is recommended that you arrange your diet reasonably to prevent constipation. To save public resources, the restroom door will automatically open in five seconds.”

Liu De: “…”

Subordinate: “…”

What kind of AI is this?!

Liu De’s army dared not move recklessly anymore. Song Yu saw the surveillance footage showing them retreating, probably thinking that moving further away would help them escape being controlled.

Rong Shi and his group only had one spaceship, and it wasn’t an offensive type, so they naturally wouldn’t chase after them.

However, the viewers in the live stream were already enraged and didn’t want to let Liu De off so easily.

The Central Military Academy was the Empire’s highest institution in the military field, so its traffic and attention were immense. Furthermore, this was an incident where Rong Shi and Song Yu, two top celebrities, encountered a military attack.

All these hot topics combined, and when the news broke, it immediately overloaded major media platforms. In less than half an hour, Liu De became the target of public condemnation. Once the evidence was in place, his military career would be over.

The other lurking military forces silently retreated a great distance. It was a rare opportunity, and they didn’t want to give up. With Liu De’s negative example in front of them, everyone immediately put on masks, fearing being discovered by Rong Shi’s group.

“The live stream still can’t be taken down?! What are you all doing?!”

“Reporting, sir! We’ve hacked in!”

“No, the defense is too high! Can’t take it down!”

“The opponent has hacked into our system following the route!”

Similar scenes unfolded in every lurking legion. They watched helplessly as the small spaceship leisurely flew away. A single particle cannon could have blown it into cosmic dust, yet they couldn’t hit it, and attacking would expose their identities.

Leaving the attacked area, Rong Shi handed the piloting authority back to the pilot. Qin Luo stood beside Rong Shi and Song Yu, smiling on the surface, but inwardly extremely nervous.

From the feedback from the AI, at least five legions were ambushed nearby, with at least a thousand people in each legion. Thinking of the previous decision, he felt a wave of lingering fear. If he and His Highness had left in the middle of the night then, they might have been subjected to continuous bombardment, and the outcome would have been truly unpredictable.

The hovering camera recorded everything the spaceship encountered. Liu Hong, Chen Chen, and others watching the live stream were jumping up and down with anxiety. They knew things weren’t as simple as Rong Shi and Song Yu made them out to be.

Chen Chen: “What’s wrong with your cousin?! Is he not content with dying alone and wants to drag your whole family down with him?!”

Liu Hong had sent communications to both his father and grandfather, and he was slumped in the sofa, his face full of sorrow: “Fortunately, imperial law doesn’t involve collective punishment, otherwise ten of my lives wouldn’t be enough.” Daring to attack a military academy spaceship, daring to attack the military academy’s top talents, daring to attack the royal family! Any one of these offenses would result in a minimum penalty of life imprisonment.

Bai Ting ran out of the room: “I just contacted my dad. He said the military has already sent rescue, and now the high command is holding an emergency meeting. The higher-ups are furious; this matter probably won’t end well.”

Chen Chen: “Now it’s not just a simple matter of who was attacked. For the military, they’re facing a reputational crisis. The public has already questioned the military. If this matter isn’t handled properly, the subsequent chain reaction will be something no one can predict.”

Hu Feng shook his head and clicked his tongue: “Did the Chairman know something like this would happen, which is why he started the live stream? I wondered why he suddenly became so diligent.”

Ahead was the warp point. Song Yu stared at the virtual screen, his hand casually hooking Rong Shi’s finger at his side. As long as they entered, they would have passed the first hurdle.

[01/00: Entering attacked range, please be careful!]

Seeing a particular point in the monitoring screen, Rong Shi’s expression changed. Just before the spaceship entered the warp point, several particle cannons were fired at the spaceship from different angles. The speed was simply too fast. Rong Shi gave up controlling it himself and used his mind to order 01 to control the spaceship to dodge according to his will.

“Holy crap!”

The spaceship suddenly tilted at a high angle. Qin Luo didn’t have time to react and slid across, fortunately grabbing a table leg to avoid hitting the wall.

As the fuselage tilted, Rong Shi pressed down on the control panel, wrapping an arm around Song Yu’s waist to shield him. Song Yu looked at the monitoring screen, his brows tightly furrowed, “They’re not with the others.”

Rong Shi: “Mm.”

The first wave of attacks passed, immediately followed by a second wave, giving them no time to breathe. Pilot: “Can’t do it. Let’s just go back to school.”

“Can’t go back,” Rong Shi observed the enemy, his voice faint. “They won’t let us go back.” The co-pilot checked the return route and found that all detectable areas were already surrounded by these unidentified warships, leaving no gaps to slip through.

“If this continues, we’ll be gone before rescue arrives!” Seeing the dense array of warships on the screen, Qin Luo almost broke down. If they were on a warship, it would be fine, but they were just a small spaceship. A warship was the difference between an ant and an elephant!

“What are you afraid of?” Song Yu moved his wrist, chuckling, “I’m not easily provoked. Since they insist on playing, let’s play with them properly.” “You two, go sit in the safety seats in the back.” Rong Shi gestured to the two pilots and Qin Luo to go over. He and Song Yu stood in front of the control panel. “Ares and his brother, take control of the enemy systems and await our commands.”

Ares/Zerores: “Invading—invaded.”

A new window appeared on the central hovering virtual screen, showing the enemy’s surveillance footage. Unfortunately, all the opponents were wearing masks, so it was impossible to tell who was who.

Inside the palace, Song Ke looked at the live stream and scoffed dismissively. “So what if your AI invaded? Do you really think playing a few tricks will win? Naive!”

Rong Shi maneuvered the spaceship to dodge, while Song Yu checked the radar data and provided supplementary data to Rong Shi. “Teacher Rong, what are we teaching this class?” Song Yu chuckled, but his eyes were cold.

Rong Shi’s expression was very calm: “Let’s have a tactical lesson.”

Song Yu: “What tactic?”

Rong Shi: “Borrowing arrows with straw boats?”

Qin Luo, sitting in the back safety seat, saw the two looking enthusiastic and sighed. He joked to the camera, “Seriously, ‘straw boat’ isn’t this little broken ship, is it? I’m so scared.” The audience in the live stream was both anxious and excited, wanting to see them battle the legions but also not wanting anything to happen to them.

The enemy’s attacks were continuous, and Rong Shi’s superb piloting skills amazed everyone. Soon, Rong Shi issued his first command. “Ares, from now on, every five seconds, publicly display the information of enemy combat personnel on all major platforms until they stop.”

Ares: “Yes! I’m so excited!”

Everyone: “…” This AI is off.

Song Yu: “Brother, control the launch system. Act according to our commands.”

Zerores: “Yes! Excited!”

In the enemy warship, Zhao Wu heard Rong Shi’s command in the live broadcast and couldn’t stop laughing. “A small spaceship dares to directly confront a legion?” He wasn’t like Liu De’s third-rate legion! And publicizing personal information? Who are they trying to scare?!

Halfway through his laughter, someone below shouted: “Sir, something’s wrong! Your, your information—” Zhao Wu’s face froze. He quickly opened social media platforms and saw his personal file forcibly pinned as the top trending topic! The short video was only fifteen seconds long, comparing his masked image with his profile picture. Anyone with eyes could see it was the same person.

“Damn it!” Zhao Wu abruptly stood up from the command seat, his scalp tingling. “Sir, what do we do? We can’t take your information down!”

“Shut up!” Hearing this, Zhao Wu jumped up and down. “Are you afraid people won’t know it’s me?!” After saying that, his face changed, his expression twisted.

Just then, another subordinate shouted: “Sir, our launch system is malfunctioning; the particle cannons can’t strike accurately!”

Zhao Wu looked up at the dozen or so surveillance virtual screens.

Explosions constantly erupted in the dark space, but none of them hit the small spaceship! The other lurking legions swarmed forward when Zhao Wu made his move, preparing to take advantage of the chaos to destroy Rong Shi’s spaceship.

As long as there were enough of them, that AI wouldn’t be able to keep up. But before they could act, they were bombarded by Zhao Wu’s particle cannons with no chance to retaliate. Zhao Wu’s warships were assault-type and numerous; they simply couldn’t withstand it! What was going on?! Was history repeating itself?!

Qin Luo was strapped into his safety seat. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the two pilot brothers with wide-open mouths, staring unblinkingly at the battle on the virtual screen, appearing to be petrified with astonishment.

“Beautiful! Enemy Legion A’s particle cannon pierces through Enemy Legion C’s warship at the waist!” Qin Luo excitedly commentated, “Using the small broken boat as bait, borrowing the firepower of Enemy Legion A to attack other Legions B, C, D, E, and F. What a brilliant ‘borrowing arrows with straw boats’ tactic!” “But I think ’empty-handed wolf’ is more fitting, brother.” “Beautiful! Legion D has only one small warship left, scurrying off the battlefield.” “This dangerous tactic is exclusive to big bosses; we ordinary people can just watch. Don’t try to imitate it easily, or you’re highly likely to be pierced by the enemy’s borrowed arrows yourself.”

The atmosphere in the live stream gradually shifted from heavy to light, and many people started typing “hahaha” again—

“The arrows borrowed by the boss are for hitting enemies; the arrows borrowed by ordinary people stick in themselves and can’t be pulled out (dog head emoji).”

“Empty-handed wolf is Chairman Rong’s specialty.”

“I somehow feel this inhumane fighting style looks familiar, like a certain big shot in Star Wars.”

Seeing the battle situation increasingly turn against them, Song Ke’s face darkened. He paced agitatedly back and forth in his room several times, finally unable to resist sending a communication to Zhao Wu.

“Are you f***ing sleepwalking?!”

Zhao Wu: “The situation’s not right. We need to withdraw first.”

“Withdraw?” Song Ke was incredulous. Such a good opportunity, and he couldn’t even harm Song Yu in the slightest? He roared: “No withdrawing! If you don’t kill him this time, I’ll kill you!”

There was a long pause on the other end. Just before Song Ke could explode again, he heard the other party say in a dazed voice: “You, look at the live stream—”

Song Ke’s heart leaped. He immediately switched to the live stream, and his mind exploded with a boom. The live stream footage was of him.

Big enemy closing in—

Rong Bunny: Wife, our arsenal has arrived. [Dutifully]

Song Cat: Let’s get to work. [Licking paws]

Song Ke: Can you show me some respect?
