SNOW CH22
Chapter 22: An Aggressive Kiss
Zhu Zhixi was suddenly stunned, forgetting to struggle.
The pain hadn’t completely faded, and tears were still streaming uncontrollably from his eyes. In his hazy vision, Fu Rangyi’s features were exceptionally clear.
Amidst the rapid panting, the hot breath on his face jolted him awake.
He reached out, trying to break free again, but the more he pushed, the more entangled and tight the kiss became. The desire for control hidden in the SA genes had completely erupted. The insurmountable physiological gap gradually made him lose the ability to resist, forced to endure it.
Bastard!
My first kiss…
In just a moment of slackening, his teeth were pried open by the tip of a tongue. Zhu Zhixi let out a whimper, moving around in a panic. The image of Fu Rangyi pushing out the capsule with his tongue flashed in his mind. He was startled and frantically patted the shoulder pressing down on him, but it was counterproductive.
His hands were seized. In the struggle, the beaded bracelet on his wrist broke. The ice-blue beads scattered with a clatter, bouncing and rolling all over the floor.
And his writhing waist was gripped tightly.
The tip of the tongue licked and stirred fiercely, like a scorching little snake, burrowing deeper and deeper. It was both itchy and suffocating. The sharp canine teeth knocked against his, a sour sensation spreading. Gradually, tears streamed down his face. He wanted to cough but couldn’t, and a glistening liquid trickled from the corner of his mouth.
No.
Zhu Zhixi tried hard to clear his head. He suddenly discovered that the hand gripping his waist was slowly relaxing.
When he was too weak to struggle, Fu Rangyi, in turn, became less aggressive. The invasive kiss also softened a lot. Amidst the wet sounds, the soft tip of his tongue came out, lightly teasing his upper palate and the tips of his teeth. Strangely, it even deliberately licked his front teeth.
“Mmph…” Zhu Zhixi’s whole body trembled, and he almost bit down.
But he held back, afraid that actually biting down would anger Fu Rangyi instead.
What’s chastity? What’s Beta virtue? A strong subjective initiative to step into the tomb of love could extend his life, but being too strong would only lead him to a physical tomb, ending his little life prematurely.
As his mind raced, the out-of-control Alpha suddenly pulled back, a glistening thread of saliva stretching between their lips.
He seemed to be out of breath too. He took a deep breath, and when he approached again, he didn’t press against his lips, but went a little higher. His soft lips touched Zhu Zhixi’s cheek.
“Glutinous rice ball…” he mumbled, his voice low and sticky. Then he opened his mouth and took a light bite.
“Ouch…”
Before he could react, Fu Rangyi kissed him again, silencing the rest of his complaints. Zhu Zhixi’s furrowed brow relaxed, then furrowed again. He closed his eyes.
He really wanted to keep a clear head, but…
Fu Rangyi was too good at kissing.
For some reason, he wasn’t in a very good mood. He let out an unconscious whimper, and his hand grabbed the back of Fu Rangyi’s waist.
Soon, he discovered that Fu Rangyi’s movements had suddenly become gentle again, and he was no longer pressing down so tightly, leaving him plenty of room to breathe. He just wouldn’t let go of his tongue.
Could it be that if he gave a little reaction, he would relax?
So Zhu Zhixi tried to raise his left hand, carefully wrapping it around his neck. His fingers moved upwards, stopping at the nape. While extending the very tip of his tongue, like licking a candy, he flicked it against Fu Rangyi’s tongue and teeth, while also very, very gently kneading the area of his gland.
Fu Rangyi’s breathing suddenly became very heavy and rapid. He frowned, and some deep, hoarse moans came from his nasal cavity.
Hearing this sound, Zhu Zhixi felt as if something was a little off with himself too.
But the will to survive overrode all other desires.
He forced himself to wake up, quietly opened his eyes, and while Fu Rangyi was completely immersed, he secretly reached his other hand into his sweatshirt pocket, took something out, flipped open the transparent cap with his thumb, and quickly raised it.
The syringe plunged into his upper arm. Fu Rangyi opened his eyes, turned his head sluggishly, and stared at the tranquilizer being injected. As if in disbelief, he turned his face again, stared at Zhu Zhixi, and slowly blinked once.
In a short while, he collapsed, losing consciousness. But his hand seemed to have not lost its strength yet, still firmly gripping the hand that Zhu Zhixi had used to knead his gland.
“Fu Rangyi, you… you’re really crazy…”
Zhu Zhixi panted, his face flushed red. He tried to pull his hand away but couldn’t at all. He could only use his right hand to pry the fingers open one by one, pulling out his left hand like pulling a radish.
It was too terrifying.
Only saints can resist a beauty trap. Zhu Zhixi admired himself as never before. What kind of mind, what kind of willpower was this!
The Great Sage Zhu shook his hand, and the continuously glowing countdown was flung out like a meteor.
He was already dizzy, and this glance made his vision blur even more. He quickly stopped.
But when he looked again, he was dumbfounded.
[47 days 01 hour 42 minutes 05 seconds]
[47 days 01 hour 42 minutes 06 seconds]
07, 08, 09…
[47 days 01 hour 42 minutes 10 seconds]
He widened his eyes.
The countdown was actually going backward! It kept going backward, without stopping.
This wasn’t a kiss, this was clearly artificial respiration!
This undoubtedly gave the exhausted Zhu Zhixi a shot of adrenaline. He was ecstatic, rolling over, and accidentally pressed on a small gadget.
Quack—
So noisy.
Hearing this sound, Fu Rangyi suddenly woke up. His head was splitting, and something round and lumpy was digging into his lower back. His vision was a blurry mass of black. After a few seconds, he realized he was wearing a blindfold.
He shifted, and pressed it again.
Quack, quack—
Confirmed. It was the little yellow ducky nurse bell.
He wanted to take off the blindfold and also move the duck away, but he couldn’t at all. Because his hands were twisted and tied behind his back.
Wiggling his fingers, he could feel the wooden board behind him. The grain was very familiar, it seemed to be the headboard. Further down, was a soft pillow.
“Don’t struggle.”
In the darkness, he heard footsteps, getting closer and closer, finally stopping in front of him.
“This is a handcuff knot, tied with outdoor rope. The more you pull, the tighter it gets.”
It was Zhu Zhixi’s voice.
Unable to see or touch, only able to hear, this threw him into a state of extreme anxiety. He couldn’t listen to what was being said at all, only wanting to use brute force to break free from the restraints. As he struggled, his body became unbalanced, and he fell sideways into something soft.
He heard a long sigh. Soon, the bed to his right sank a little.
“I kindly stayed to take care of you, but what happened? You lied to me and even bit me.”
When did I… Fu Rangyi’s head throbbed.
What nonsense is he talking about?
Zhu Zhixi’s tone was fiercer than usual, and he spoke very quickly. After finishing in one breath, he took a sharp inhale and then muttered a curse under his breath, “Bad thing. Using any means necessary.”
Who’s bad?
Is there anyone worse than you?
He was helped up. A warm hand pressed on his chest, pushing him back into a sitting position against the headboard.
“Open your mouth.”
His consciousness was still unclear, his mind chaotic. Before he could react, a straw poked his lips.
“Suck.”
Another sigh.
“It’s nutrient solution, not poisoned. Didn’t you want to drink it just now? Or did you actually eat and just wanted to trick me into going out?”
His tone quickened a little, his breathing rapid, as if he were angry. “Fu Rangyi, how can you be such a bastard? I thought you had really woken up, and I was so happy. Luckily, I’m smart and had a backup plan…”
Lied?
His memory was foggy, chaotically stuffed in his brain. He couldn’t remember, nor was he clear about what Zhu Zhixi was saying. He only felt hot, very hot, and below, it felt like it was about to explode.
“Let me go.” Fu Rangyi tilted his head back, his head hitting the wall behind the headboard again and again. The lock of the muzzle clattered against the tiles.
“Impossible. Don’t even think about it. I’ll never believe you again.”
Why?
Hearing this, Fu Rangyi suddenly felt a little wronged.
But the next second, he was pulled. He felt himself get closer to the person, able to feel his body heat. A moment later, the person let go and pushed him back to his original spot. Only this time, there was a pillow behind his head.
“Don’t move. If you do this again, I’ll really get angry. I hit people when I’m angry.”
Hit…
It was too hard to bear. It felt like ants were crawling all over his body, watching them burrow into the seams of his bones.
He gasped for breath a few times. “The blindfold…”
“Don’t even think about the blindfold. I won’t give…”
A long vibration occurred, and Zhu Zhixi’s voice suddenly stopped. A moment later, the person he was talking to changed.
A strange annoyance welled up.
His canines ached and itched. Fu Rangyi ground his teeth fiercely.
“You finally have time to call me back?” Zhu Zhixi didn’t use speakerphone. His tone was sarcastic, but to his ears, it sounded somewhat intimate. “No, are you playing some kind of prank on me? I almost…”
He abruptly fell silent.
Fu Rangyi took a deep breath, trying to control the ringing in his ears so he could hear more clearly. He heard the door open, footsteps, and the door close. After that, everything became extremely blurry.
Who was it?
His aggression was impossible to hide. He ground his teeth loudly.
Closing the door, Zhu Zhixi looked back to confirm, then went into the hallway.
“…I was almost bitten to death by him!” he complained in a low voice. “I’m not exaggerating at all. I even saw little angels coming to take me home!”
Li Qiao’s voice sounded extremely surprised. “Impossible. Isn’t he wearing a muzzle? Did you take it off? Didn’t I tell you a thousand times not to…”
“How can you turn around and blame me!” Zhu Zhixi was so angry he was about to pinch his philtrum. The back of his neck hurt whenever it was pulled.
“Bro, is the password on this muzzle just for show? It’s completely useless! I just went out to get something, and when I came back, his mouth was set free!”
“Absolutely impossible,” Li Qiao said with certainty. “I swear on my medical ethics, it absolutely cannot be opened without the password and operating permissions.”
You have medical ethics?
Zhu Zhixi narrowed his eyes. “Then you opened it for him remotely. It must have been.”
“Heaven and earth are my witness! I was in a meeting all afternoon and just got my phone. Whoever is lying to you is a dog!”
“You Alphas are dogs to begin with!”
“Wait a minute, let me look at your previous messages. Why did you send so many?” Li Qiao paused for a moment. “So… you injected the suppressant first, and then gave him the oral liquid to restore his cognitive ability?”
“Yes.” Speaking of this, Zhu Zhixi’s confidence also waned by half.
“No wonder, then it all makes sense.”
Li Qiao seemed to be hiding somewhere, his voice also very low. “The correct order of medication is to first use the capsule to lower the sex drive, then use the oral liquid to restore cognitive ability, and wait until the pheromone level reaches a stable period before giving the injection. This way, the effect is best, and the side effects are minimal.”
“The higher the level of an A, the stronger the reproductive desire during the susceptibility period. This is etched into their DNA. You injected him directly during an outbreak. His physiological instincts were threatened, and his self-defense mechanism was awakened. Of course, there would be a retaliatory rebound. This is something every SA…”
Zhu Zhixi clutched his neck and interrupted, “You didn’t say that! Is this my fault, bro?”
“I… wasn’t I in a hurry to catch a flight?” Li Qiao said again. “And you also gave him the oral liquid, letting him regain his ability to think. For god’s sake, isn’t that like giving a wolf that only wants to fuck its brains out during heat the brain of a Ph.D. student? He would do anything to mate! He’d definitely lie to you, right? Lie you out of your underwear…”
Zhu Zhixi: “…”
My underwear is perfectly fine.
“Then are you okay? Did anything happen?”
Zhu Zhixi chuckled twice. “If something had really happened, we’d have become a mortise and tenon joint by now. I wouldn’t be here chatting with you.”
Li Qiao was stunned for a second, then burst out laughing, covering his mouth and lowering his voice. “Do you usually talk to Fu Rangyi like this? Didn’t you piss him off?”
“I’m planning to use even nastier words on him in the future!”
Zhu Zhixi was so angry his head hurt.
“Thank goodness I was smart enough to feel that Fu Rangyi couldn’t possibly have regained his senses so easily. I grabbed a tube of tranquilizer and put it in my pocket while heating the nutrient solution. Otherwise, this little Beta’s chastity would have been long gone!”
“Then how is he now? Is he in a good state?”
Zhu Zhixi opened a crack in the master bedroom door and immediately saw a certain propped-up, unignorable organ. How can this thing be put into a human body? You’d die, right?
As someone who was about to die, Zhu Zhixi’s brain naturally imagined this way of dying.
No, it’s too undignified.
“…Still a wolf-dog. He hasn’t turned back into a Ph.D. student yet.”
After saying this, Zhu Zhixi asked again, “Is that crappy capsule of yours really useful? Why do I feel like it didn’t suppress anything at all?”
“This is a new drug, and you didn’t follow the doctor’s orders… Why don’t you just lock him up and ignore him? Just leave it like this. It’s not the first time. He won’t die.”
Hearing this, he frowned. “How can you be so heartless? And you call yourself a good friend!”
“No, didn’t he almost rape you? Marital rape is still rape. I don’t want to be an accomplice to a criminal.”
He retorted in a low voice, “How is it marital rape? At most, it’s marital force…”
Kiss.
The last word got stuck in his throat.
Seeing Fu Rangyi like this, he did feel bad. Watching him suffer made Zhu Zhixi feel stuffy and uncomfortable too.
Although he did forcefully kiss him, that kiss could also be considered… a blessing in disguise for him.
Even just to repay the favor, he should stay.
And my earlier actions also made him suffer quite a bit…
“If you really can’t get over it, just tie him up, don’t take off the muzzle so he can’t attack you, and check on him every once in a while to physically cool him down. To put it bluntly, Alphas are just big cats, big dogs. During their susceptibility period, they’re more clingy, anxious, and emotional. Just treat him like you’re soothing a pet.”
Soothe a pet?
Zhu Zhixi blinked. He was about to ask for more advice when he suddenly heard a bang from the master bedroom.
“What’s wrong?” He immediately pushed the door open and saw the doggy doctor had fallen in front of the bedside table. The lamp had been knocked over and smashed on the floor.
He was blindfolded and his hands were tied, yet he struggled to turn over, sideways to Zhu Zhixi. His voice was very hoarse, his tone even fiercer than before.
“Who were you talking to…”
“Me?” Zhu Zhixi was a bit baffled. “Your doctor friend, the one you said you wanted me to go be his…”
Fu Rangyi suddenly became even more frantic, like a restrained beast, struggling desperately.
“No, what’s wrong now?”
Afraid he would fall, Zhu Zhixi quickly hung up the phone and ran over, grabbing Fu Rangyi’s shoulders to help him up, positioning him like a large bolster pillow, and even gave him a couple of pats.
Miraculously, he felt the person in his arms calm down a lot.
He must have remembered who was on the phone, Zhu Zhixi guessed.
However, the next second, his shoulder felt a weight. Fu Rangyi suddenly leaned over very gently, pressing very close, so close he could feel the strong heartbeat, thumping against his own chest, one beat after another.
The metal bars pressed against the skin of his neck, so cold it made Zhu Zhixi shrink back. The rapid breaths that fell on him were, in turn, very hot.
“Don’t move around… it tickles.”
Through the muzzle, the blindfolded Fu Rangyi tried to sniff the air to determine his position, but this seemed to be very difficult for him, so he tried for a long time.
After stopping, he rubbed against Zhu Zhixi’s neck, then lowered his head, trying hard to bury it in the crook of his shoulder.
“Hug, I want more.”
The person who hated hugs the most was now asking him for a hug?
Zhu Zhixi’s worldview crumbled a little.
Could it be that the susceptibility period really turns an alpha into another person? Then how did he get through it before he got married? Who comforted him?
He suddenly thought of Fu Rangyi’s family, thought of him locking himself up, curled up in a tent.
Most likely, such a person did not exist.
Once again, he thought of the “thank you” in the darkness. Each word was like a fine crack on white porcelain, close together, precarious.
“Alright.”
Zhu Zhixi suppressed the sourness in his nose and made a disclaimer to deceive himself. “You’re the one who wanted this hug. Don’t come looking for trouble with me when you wake up.”
After saying this, he, sitting on the bed, moved closer. He spread his propped-up legs, opened his arms, and pulled the bound Fu Rangyi into his embrace.
There was a considerable size difference between them. Fu Rangyi was taller and had much broader shoulders. Hugging like this, Zhu Zhixi felt more like he was the one being supported.
Fu Rangyi’s face was very hot, his breath scalding. The excessive temperature burned into the crook of his shoulder and the side of his neck. In his ear, he could hear his suppressed, somewhat pained, low pants, and that big thing pressing against him that was impossible to ignore… All of this made him feel completely at a loss.
Li Qiao’s words echoed again.
[Alphas are just big cats, big dogs. During their susceptibility period, they’re more clingy, anxious, and emotional. Just treat him like you’re soothing a pet.]
The method for soothing a pet?
Zhu Zhixi closed his eyes, his hands moved, gently stroking Fu Rangyi’s back a few times.
This seemed to please him. Fu Rangyi rubbed against him, his breathing becoming rapid. He pressed even more eagerly into his embrace. The hands tied behind his back even lifted up slightly, as if trying to reach Zhu Zhixi’s hand.
But they still didn’t touch.
As soon as his hand stopped, he heard Fu Rangyi say, “More.”
Fu Rangyi’s tone of voice was still cold, but his tone was completely different from usual. He was panting, his breath unsteady, with an indescribable sensuality.
Zhu Zhixi deliberately pretended not to hear and paused for a long time.
Not receiving any new strokes, the blindfolded Alpha suddenly raised his head and leaned close to his ear, rubbing against it.
“I want more petting.” The cold muzzle brushed against his ear, and the pores all over his body trembled.
Zhu Zhixi was a little uncomfortable from the rubbing, but he still pretended to be calm, humming twice. “You still dare to make demands… If I send you to work at a cat cafe, you’ll learn to behave.”
He tried hard to maintain an air of righteousness, petting his back, patting his shoulder, stroking his neck and gland, and ruffling his short hair like petting a cat.
“Like this… is it any better?”
No response.
Fu Rangyi seemed completely unable to understand human language, only his panting grew heavier, and he rubbed back against the side of his face more affectionately.
“Hey, don’t move…” Zhu Zhixi tried to dodge but couldn’t. As soon as he stopped his hand movements, he would be bumped and rubbed by his shoulder. He was starting to lose his balance, using one hand to prop himself up on the bed, half-closing his eyes, while the other hand roamed aimlessly over Fu Rangyi’s body.
Until, he touched the scars on Fu Rangyi’s arm.
They didn’t feel like scars. They felt like numerous upright thorns, thin and sharp razor blades. The moment he touched them, Zhu Zhixi felt pain.
But he did not pull his hand back. Once Fu Rangyi truly woke up and returned to his usual self, he would absolutely never show these scars again. He stroked them very slowly, inch by inch, line by line. The long, dense scars were slightly raised, like circles of frozen ripples. But they would never melt again.
Taking a deep breath, he wrapped his palm around that section of his forearm.
“Fu Rangyi.”
No response. He wasn’t sure if his words could be heard, but he still said them, one word at a time, afraid he wouldn’t hear.
“You are an Alpha. During your susceptibility period, you will change, you will have physiological urges. It’s all very normal. This is not your choice, so it’s not your fault.” His voice grew lower and lower, but his embrace grew tighter.
“Don’t hurt yourself, okay?”
Fu Rangyi still didn’t answer, but his breathing became heavier, his arms tightened more than before. Stroking down along the path, he felt a living pulse, beating powerfully.
After a long while, he finally heard a response.
“I want to… see you.”
“No.” Zhu Zhixi was resolute about not taking off his blindfold.
“I want to see…”
“No. You have to listen to the doctor.”
A lie. Li Qiao never said that.
It was just that while tying his hands, Zhu Zhixi had caught a glimpse of the tears sliding from the corners of Fu Rangyi’s eyes.
He was a little scared. If this person woke up and continued to look at him with those wet eyes, he would definitely soften, would untie the handcuff knot, and be bullied again.
Fu Rangyi didn’t insist anymore. He just pushed his wrist into Zhu Zhixi’s hand until Zhu Zhixi stroked and wrapped his hand around his wrist again. Only then did he seem to let out a sigh of relief. His breathing trembled, and his voice was unsteady, still sounding very fragile.
“You… are very good. I need you…”
Zhu Zhixi was stunned for a second.
Why does he say such nice things during his susceptibility period… He, who was usually quick-witted, suddenly didn’t know how to respond.
After a while, he asked somewhat affectedly, “Do you know who I am? And you already need me.”
After asking, he regretted it a bit, because he actually started to feel nervous, yet he couldn’t stop himself from waiting for an answer.
Fu Rangyi pressed down on him a little, almost making his waist bend backward. He suddenly lifted his head from where it was buried in his neck. He was wearing a blindfold, yet he accurately found Zhu Zhixi’s face. The muzzle pressed against the tip of his nose, wanting to move forward.
“What are you doing? You’re squishing my nose.” Zhu Zhixi dodged backward.
Fu Rangyi pursued relentlessly, tilting his head. The muzzle accidentally touched his still-swollen lips.
He suddenly spoke. “Wife.”
Author’s Note:
Nurse Bunny and Doctor Doggy’s messy susceptibility period push-and-pull has one chapter left!
A quick note, Professor Fu’s illness is not equivalent to sex addiction, please don’t equate them. It’s caused by long-term dependence on suppressants and has many symptoms. Sometimes it manifests as depression, anxiety, sometimes as insomnia, headaches, nausea. Each cycle can be different. This time is special, it’s a malignant syndrome plus inducement, leading to an early outbreak (plus, after Xiao Zhu appeared, he’s no longer as “desireless” as before).
