JOH CH82: In Love
Immense joy and excitement swept through Gu Yuanting’s heart. In a matter of days, his emotions had been on a rollercoaster, plummeting and soaring, finally settling at this moment with the confirmation of Ranran’s love.
Su Yiran didn’t expect Ting-ge to be so emotional. He saw Ting-ge’s eyes moisten, his long eyelashes quickly becoming damp, wet.
Ting-ge was crying again.
Ting-ge loved him so much.
Perhaps the atmosphere was too good, perhaps the scenery was too beautiful, perhaps the love was too sweet. Su Yiran’s heart was also overflowing with emotion; he was utterly moved by such a Ting-ge.
He gently wiped Ting-ge’s eyes with his finger, helping to clear the tears, then kissed Ting-ge’s lips, repeating the loving words he had just spoken, assuring him, “I love you, whether in the past or now, I love you.”
Amidst the surging emotions, Gu Yuanting only heard a few words: “You love the present me, right?”
Su Yiran looked intently at Ting-ge, confessing to him: “Of course, I love the present you.”
Ranran said he loved him.
Gu Yuanting saw his own tiny reflection in Ranran’s eyes, as if Ranran’s heart and eyes were filled with only him. Ranran loved him, and he loved Ranran.
They were in love.
Gu Yuanting’s heart felt as if it were steeped in sweet wine; he was intoxicated without even trying. He looked at Ranran in a daze, unable to control himself, cupping Su Yiran’s small face, his heart filled with tenderness, and kissed him: “I love you too.”
He and Ranran had confessed their love to each other. A mutual confession between lovers.
Before Su Yiran could speak, Gu Yuanting was already overwhelmed with excitement. He passionately kissed him, gently sucking and deeply entangling, feeling extreme happiness.
He felt as if he had tasted all beautiful things, as if he had married Ranran again, as if he had been reborn.
Gu Yuanting only felt that life had never been so complete.
After the kiss, Gu Yuanting picked up Su Yiran in his arms, looked down at Ranran, kissed him again, and walked directly towards the glass house.
This glass house was built using special glass. From the outside, you couldn’t see in, but from the inside, it was transparent, allowing you to see the scenery outside.
They spent a sweet and passionate dusk and evening in the overwater glass house, making love under the sunset by the sea and the starry sky above the ocean.
The next day, Su Yiran woke up and, seeing the blue sky overhead, was momentarily confused. A moment later, he realized that he and Ting-ge had… yesterday…
A blush crept onto his cheeks. Ting-ge last night was like he had taken a strong stimulant; he was too much to handle, especially in that environment…
Gu Yuanting noticed Ranran was awake and gently kissed him: “Morning.”
“Cough, morning.” Su Yiran said, blushing, formally returning the greeting.
According to their original plan, they would leave this evening after dinner, so only this daytime remained on the island.
Gu Yuanting was very reluctant to leave. In his heart, he and Ranran had just begun their honeymoon, and leaving so soon meant they wouldn’t have enough time to savor it.
However, they had already been on vacation for a week, and without a special reason, staying longer wouldn’t be appropriate.
Su Yiran was packing his luggage in the room. In reality, there wasn’t much to pack. The daily necessities here were all-inclusive, and many of the items he brought hadn’t been used, still remaining untouched in his suitcase.
Gu Yuanting was also by his side, helping him pack. After packing for a while, he would look at Ranran for a bit, unable to get enough of him.
Su Yiran’s face flushed from Ting-ge’s intense gaze. He noticed that Ting-ge’s gaze had suddenly become passionately sticky, like tangled sugar threads.
After packing their luggage, Gu Yuanting even made a point to change his wallet. He threw away his old wallet and carried the wallet Ranran had handmade for him close to his body, feeling sweet inside.
Ranran must have made it for him with love for him.
As Gu Yuanting thought, he couldn’t help but fall into a daze again.
“Hey,” Su Yiran playfully tapped Ting-ge’s head, “Let’s go down and eat.”
“Okay.” Gu Yuanting snapped out of his daze, couldn’t help but hug Ranran and kiss him, rubbing their noses intimately: “I love you.”
“I love you too.” Su Yiran kissed him back, his eyes curving into a smile.
The two held hands and went downstairs for dinner.
During dinner, the butler entered and handed Gu Yuanting a document bag: “Mr. Gu, the documents you requested.”
Su Yiran curiously asked: “What’s that?”
Gu Yuanting placed the document bag aside and stroked his head: “Eat first.”
Su Yiran didn’t ask again. After dinner, Gu Yuanting opened the document bag and took out several documents and a pen. He looked at them, confirmed everything was correct, then handed the documents and pen to Ranran: “Ranran, please sign.”
Su Yiran had a bad premonition; this scene felt strangely familiar. He looked at the documents, saw a few keywords, and couldn’t help but be surprised, looking up at Gu Yuanting for confirmation: “This is?”
Gu Yuanting said: “Documents for the transfer of the plane and the island. You like them, so they’re for you.” He had arranged for these documents to be processed on the first day, wanting to avoid disturbances to his and Ranran’s private world, and instructed them to be delivered today.
Su Yiran: “…”
Su Yiran now had experience. Last time, after accepting the diamond mine, nothing seemed different, except that he regularly had someone report on the mine’s status. But now…
Gu Yuanting saw Ranran hesitate and stepped forward, taking his hand, coaxing him: “Ranran, sign it. I’m very happy to give you things you like.”
Su Yiran heard Ting-ge say this, hesitated for a moment, and didn’t fuss too much before signing his name. It wasn’t the first time; the first time was difficult, the second time was familiar.
Anyway, what was his was Ting-ge’s, and what was Ting-ge’s was his. What did it matter?
Gu Yuanting was very happy when Ranran finished signing. He put away the documents, then hugged Ranran and kissed him again. He liked the feeling of giving Ranran gifts.
Su Yiran, seeing Ting-ge’s genuinely happy expression, also became happy.
In the afternoon, the two strolled around the island. Besides some evergreen trees and vegetation, the island also had a maple forest, nestled among the green trees—a patch of red amidst all the green, very beautiful.
Gu Yuanting’s mood throughout the day was bubbling with joy, with only the impending departure causing him regret.
But it didn’t matter. Even if there were others at home and he had to make time to care for the baby, as long as he was with Ranran, it was a honeymoon no matter what.
This must be the feeling of marrying first, then falling in love?
Gu Yuanting and Ranran held hands, strolling through the maple forest, thinking happily like this, when his phone suddenly rang.
Su Yiran saw Ting-ge motionless and nudged him: “Phone, answer it quickly.”
Gu Yuanting took out his phone, saw the caller, and frowned. He gestured to Ranran, then walked aside to answer the call.
Su Yiran waited in place for Ting-ge. After about ten minutes, Gu Yuanting hung up the phone and walked back. Su Yiran noticed his mood was a little low and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Gu Yuanting thought about the conversation, and a gloomy flicker passed through his eyes. He didn’t let his emotions show, worried about scaring Ranran: “Nothing, it’s just… I can’t go back to the country with you. Something came up in Country D, and I need to go there.”
