JOH CH81: His Love
Su Yiran didn’t know what was going through Ting-ge’s mind. He and Ting-ge hugged intimately, kissing softly for a while, feeling their hearts beat a little fast.
Ting-ge’s kisses were so gentle.
Gu Yuanting met Ranran’s loving gaze and, as if burned, suddenly dared not meet his eyes. He felt his face inexplicably flush, making him flustered, unsure what to do.
Ranran might love him.
Su Yiran noticed Ting-ge’s face suddenly turned red.
He touched Ting-ge’s face in surprise, and indeed, it felt warm. He immediately burst into laughter, his eyes bright, as if he had discovered a new continent: “Ting-ge, why are you blushing?”
He couldn’t help but kiss Ting-ge’s lips: “Are you shy?”
He hadn’t seen Ting-ge blush and be shy in so many years. What was going on? They were just hugging and kissing for a bit. Ting-ge’s sudden, inexplicably innocent demeanor made Su Yiran’s heart flutter.
Gu Yuanting heard Ranran’s words and accidentally met Ranran’s sparkling eyes again. He didn’t know what was wrong with him. He quickly and nervously averted his gaze, his heart pounding, stammering, unsure how to answer: “N-no.”
Ranran might love him.
Su Yiran noticed that Ting-ge’s ears, even the very tips, gradually began to show a faint blush.
Su Yiran: “!!” Too endearing! Who could resist this?!
Su Yiran’s heart pounded. He couldn’t help but wrap his arms around Ting-ge’s neck and kiss his cheek several times. He peppered messy kisses everywhere, finally kissing the tips of his ears many times as well.
…What to do, he was going to die of love for Ting-ge like this.
Gu Yuanting could barely withstand Ranran’s fervor. His hands and feet were flustered, not knowing where to put them. For the first time ever, he took a step back. The wall was behind him, his heels hitting the tiles at the base of the wall.
Su Yiran hadn’t kissed enough. He followed Ting-ge’s retreating steps, moving forward one step, and his hands, wrapped around Ting-ge’s neck, pressed against the wall on either side of his neck. Gu Yuanting was forced by his actions, his back hitting the wall.
Su Yiran pressed his beloved Ting-ge against the wall and kissed him wildly.
Why is he treating me like this? Gu Yuanting was dizzy from Ranran’s kisses. He vaguely wondered, is he falling in love with me too?
Thinking of this speculation, he became even more flustered by Ranran’s kisses, his face hot, his heart pounding, his head spinning, like a young man who had been in love for a long time, suddenly realizing that his beloved might also like him, and was being pressed against the wall and “molested” by his beloved.
After a long while, Su Yiran was finally almost done kissing. He released Ting-ge with great satisfaction and whispered in his ear, “Shall we go upstairs?”
Gu Yuanting realized what was about to happen. He couldn’t help but clench his fists nervously, then suddenly picked Ranran up, took the stairs two steps at a time, and entered the bedroom.
The two took a shower together, then did some “basic homework.” When Gu Yuanting excitedly wanted to do “advanced homework,” Su Yiran sternly stopped him.
Gu Yuanting was a bit puzzled and also anxious, but he obediently stopped. Whatever Ranran said, that was what they would do.
But his heart felt like it was dangling by Ranran’s love, constantly fearing loss.
He didn’t know why Ranran didn’t want to make love to him.
Su Yiran coughed, sat up from the bed with a serious expression, and patted the mattress. He thought of something, and his face couldn’t help but flush intensely: “Ting-ge, lie still.”
Gu Yuanting suddenly realized something. He looked at Ranran in disbelief, gradually becoming red-faced and breathing heavily with excitement. His voice was hoarse: “Ranran…”
Su Yiran was originally shy, but seeing Ting-ge’s appearance, the feeling of shyness faded quite a bit. He said nothing, but with a hardworking spirit, he earnestly and proactively began to act.
Gu Yuanting’s chest heaved with gasps, and he couldn’t help but let out a muffled groan: “…”
…
The two of them shared a navel orange, savoring it slowly. It was sweet, delicious, and very tasty.
…
…
The next day, Su Yiran woke up and found Ting-ge still asleep, which relieved him. He had been worried that Ting-ge would have another sleepless night, like the one before last.
Su Yiran looked at Ting-ge’s sleeping face and couldn’t help but kiss him, but after a moment, everything from last night slowly began to replay in his mind, those bold and seductive…
His face burned, and he quickly told himself that after being married for so long, what was the big deal about a loving couple sharing an orange together?
Besides, it was all Ting-ge’s fault for being too endearing; it wasn’t really his business.
Just as he was thinking that, he saw Gu Yuanting’s eyelashes flutter, then his eyes opened. Su Yiran’s heart involuntarily felt a bit guilty, as if his secret thoughts had been caught by Ting-ge.
Su Yiran, feeling guilty, quickly kissed Ting-ge: “Good morning, Ting-ge.”
Gu Yuanting had just woken up and received Ranran’s good morning kiss, which made him feel happy and joyful, as if something good had fallen from the sky.
Everything from last night rushed back into his mind. He felt intoxicated, holding Ranran and gently kissing him: “Good morning.”
He felt that Ranran should love him, or at least, had already given him some space in his heart, right? Otherwise, why would he have been so intimately affectionate with him yesterday?
Gu Yuanting’s heart felt warm, and he thought for a moment with certainty, but then thinking of the original owner’s existence, he became uncertain again. He started to feel anxious, afraid his expectations would be dashed.
Su Yiran said, “Shall we go out and have some fun today?”
Gu Yuanting quickly agreed: “Okay.”
They both got up and washed. Since they hadn’t done anything too excessive last night, they woke up relatively early today and could spend the whole day out.
Su Yiran pulled open the large bedroom curtains. Through the floor-to-ceiling glass window, he saw the clear blue ocean, with its sparkling waves and azure sky, the sea and sky blending into one. The weather was beautiful today.
Come to think of it, since they arrived on this island, they had only truly explored the small town on the first day. The rest of the time had mostly been spent lounging around the villa on the island…
It was truly unacceptable…
Su Yiran recalled that before coming to the island, Gu Yuanting had shown him some photos to persuade him to come. Besides scenic shots, there were pictures of various activities like diving, parasailing, shark feeding, ATV rides, and bonfire parties, which looked like great fun.
Yet, after arriving, they had just been indulging themselves and hadn’t done any of them…
Gu Yuanting also thought of this and felt a little guilty. He asked Ranran, “What do you want to do today?” He added, “Or, why don’t we stay two more days and leave when we’ve had enough fun?”
According to their original plan, they were supposed to leave tomorrow night.
Su Yiran thought for a moment and decided it would be best to do something light and relaxing today. Diving, parasailing, and the like could wait.
He was still concerned about Ting-ge’s unusually low mood and insomnia from the day before yesterday. Today, he mainly wanted to help Ting-ge relax and clear his mind.
Su Yiran said, “Let’s keep it simple: ride ATVs, walk along the beach, and collect seashells?” He smiled at Ting-ge, “We can do the other things later if we want, there’s plenty of time anyway.”
Gu Yuanting agreed. In the morning, the two rode ATVs on the island’s beach, along the clear blue coastline, with the gentle sea breeze, their moods also relaxing considerably.
After having enough fun and returning, Gu Yuanting took Su Yiran to the overwater glass house on the boardwalk.
This was a winding wooden boardwalk, starting from the side of the villa and snaking its way to the sea. Su Yiran had noticed it on their first day and had visited it once before, loving it.
The two had lunch in the glass house, surrounded by the clear blue sea and sky, which was beautiful.
They didn’t cook themselves today. Gu Yuanting hired a famous local chef to prepare a local meal for them to try something new.
Outside the glass house was a wide white terrace. Su Yiran and Ting-ge lay on the soft daybed on the terrace, with a large sun umbrella over their heads. He felt as if they were floating on the sea.
The sun was gentle, the sea breeze soft. The two comfortably took a nap together.
After waking from their nap, Su Yiran was too lazy to get up immediately. He snuggled into Gu Yuanting’s arms, idly playing with Ting-ge’s well-defined fingers, occasionally kissing his fingertips.
Gu Yuanting’s heart fluttered with Ranran’s kisses. He felt again that Ranran loved him, and couldn’t help but be deeply moved, yet with an uncertain nervousness.
In the afternoon, the two walked hand in hand along the beach, sometimes chatting idly, sometimes bending down to pick up seashells. It was very relaxing and leisurely.
The beach was clean and fine. Su Yiran scooped up a handful of white sand. The sand felt incredibly fine and soft. He felt a little regretful and looked at Gu Yuanting: “If only it were summer, we could walk barefoot on the sand. It would be so comfortable.”
Gu Yuanting said, “We’ll come again in summer.”
Su Yiran smiled: “Okay.”
The waves gently washed the beach. The water by the white sand beach was very clear, a refreshing turquoise color, appearing crystal clear under the sunlight.
Due to the time difference, dusk arrived very early here; it was only a little past four in the afternoon when twilight came.
A few streaks of pink appeared in the sky, tinging both the ocean and the white beach with a hint of rosy color. The sun gradually sank below the horizon, and they watched the sunset over the sea.
Unconsciously, the two quietly embraced, listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach, and shared a tender kiss amidst the beautiful seaside sunset.
Their figures formed a silhouette by the sea, an embrace between lovers, as if only the two of them remained in the world.
After a long kiss, Su Yiran couldn’t help but kiss Ting-ge again, his heart filled with tender warmth, love, and emotion. He instinctively confessed to Ting-ge, “I love you.”
Do you love me?
Gu Yuanting looked at Su Yiran, his heart pounding violently once more. He felt certain one moment, then uncertain the next, caught in an uneasy limbo.
After a long while, he gently and carefully kissed Ranran, almost summoning all his courage, and calmly asked him, “Then… do you, love me now?”
After asking, his heart almost stopped. The sky, the sunset, the waves, the beach—everything lost its color before his eyes, its sound in his ears. Only Ranran stood before him. He waited for the verdict.
Su Yiran couldn’t help but smile, then kissed Ting-ge forcefully again: “Yes.”
…
…Gu Yuanting gasped for several deep breaths, his chest swelling, his eyes stinging. He felt his eyes well up quickly, hot tears rising, and he heard the sound of his heart bursting with joy.
He loves me, he loves me!
