Chapter 55: Small Stone Tower

As a god who could not die, even having given most of his power to humanity, Xiu had lived in this world for a long time.

So long that he couldn’t even remember which five-hundred-year span this was.

Therefore, when death truly arrived, what Xiu felt was only peace.

He clearly sensed his remaining power draining away bit by bit as his eyes were completely destroyed. Countless layers of time began to collapse and flow backward.

After the destruction, it slowly returned to the origin point.

Xiu thought:

It’s all over.

In the remaining time, Wen Chu can use the money and body I left behind to be a happy little mist without worries.

His thoughts stopped completely.

However, in the very next second, Xiu was surprised to find that he could hear sounds again.

It was Wen Chu’s choking voice, desperately saying “I hate you.” Countless new powers surged into his shell-like body, forcibly dragging him back to reality.

His body was still incredibly heavy. Xiu struggled to wake up, wanting to ask Wen Chu what was going on, what ability he had used, and what price he had paid.

Immediately, he felt his chin tighten.

His chin was forcibly lifted by a warm hand.

Wen Chu’s soft, slow, and extremely untimely cheerful voice rang out:

“Now, I am raising you.”

“From now on, let’s live forever in the stone tower you prepared—”

What happened?

Xiu’s platinum eyelashes trembled. Suddenly remembering that he had no eyes now and afraid of scaring Wen Chu, he simply kept his eyes closed and tried hard to emit broken syllables.

“What… happened?”

Hearing the man’s low voice again, Wen Chu was genuinely stunned for a moment and subconsciously answered obediently, “You died. I spent lifespan to resurrect you.”

Xiu closed his eyes and frowned. “How much lifespan did you spend? Who told you to resurrect me like this? Isn’t the world already recovering? You doing this…”

“Xiu.”

Hearing Xiu say these words that were no different from stabbing him in the heart again, Wen Chu was not angry, nor did he shed tears. He just looked at the other quietly and stubbornly, speaking softly.

“Why is there only this world in your eyes forever? I’ve obviously been very good. Don’t you like good ones?”

“Why can’t you like me? Is it because I’m still ten favorability points short? Why can’t you love me?”

Wen Chu’s voice rose as he spoke, and by the end, he wanted to cry again.

“…I hate you.”

Wen Chu thought, his nose stinging, If Xiu’s favorability towards him is ninety, then his favorability towards this world must be one hundred.

Otherwise, how could Xiu so easily leave him behind to save this world?

Xiu was stunned by Wen Chu’s words. He simply couldn’t understand why the mist, who had been guarded and distant just moments ago, was suddenly accusing him so emotionally of not loving him. He could only explain stumblingly, “No, I like you very much…”

“Shut up!” Wen Chu interrupted him fiercely.

“I will never believe your words again. You are a liar. I hate you.”

As Wen Chu spoke, he grabbed the cloth strip binding Xiu’s wrists and turned into a cloud of mist right there.

This time, he didn’t deliberately compress his size to act cute in front of Xiu. The mist, possessing a full year and a half of lifespan, spread out completely and directly enveloped the entire amusement park.

The Winter Jasmine Amusement Park, which had been sunny just a moment ago, suddenly became gloomy. Wen Chu separated a bit of his body and wrapped Xiu up tightly.

Xiu couldn’t see; he could only feel his body suddenly become empty. He subconsciously reached forward, trying to grab Wen Chu, whose hand had just been holding his chin.

But he grabbed only air.

“Wen Chu.” Xiu was a little uneasy.

He didn’t care whether he died or not, nor did he care about what was happening to him now, but Wen Chu was obviously not right. He was worried when he couldn’t touch Wen Chu.

Wen Chu snorted coldly. “If you don’t shut up, I’ll stuff your mouth.”

Wen Chu’s voice was right by his ear. Xiu also felt the icy coldness of his robes being dampened by the thick fog at this moment.

Wen Chu must have turned into mist?

Xiu guessed this and reluctantly relaxed a little.

He hadn’t figured out the situation yet and was afraid that speaking rashly would make Wen Chu even angrier, so he shut up as told.

Wen Chu wrapped around Xiu and floated back.

Such a large mass of black thick fog moving rapidly quickly attracted the attention of many onlookers. Wen Chu heard exclamations from below:

“There’s fog flying in the sky!”

Wen Chu: ?

What nonsense is that?

He looked down and was surprised to find that the people on the ground were actually walking backward.

At this time, he was above the falling City of Steam. He could clearly see the trees in the City of Steam becoming smaller and smaller, and people removing houses and parts of the City of Steam, walking backward out of the city.

Not only the City of Steam, but the ground was also like this. After the accumulated snow melted, the ground also began to reverse. Countless boiler rooms began to be dismantled, and a few green shoots emerged from the ground.

Wen Chu didn’t know exactly what Xiu had done, but based on the current situation, he guessed that Xiu had used his remaining life to reverse time.

He felt even more bitter in his heart.

Xiu reversed time for everyone, leaving only him behind. Xiu saved everyone, but he didn’t love him alone.

Even now, Xiu hadn’t explained a single word to him.

Wen Chu looked at Xiu, whose eyes were tightly closed, and added another crime to the list:

He’s not even willing to open his eyes to look at him.

Wen Chu trembled with anger and flew faster wrapped around Xiu amidst the exclamations of the people.

He flew all the way back to the stone tower.

The entire Rebel Army base originally built by Minnie also disappeared in the time reversal, leaving only the stone tower Xiu had left for him still standing in place.

Wen Chu didn’t go through the main door but flew directly through the small window on the third floor carrying Xiu.

He threw Xiu onto the bed and separated a ball of mist to block the window tightly.

The only light source was blocked, and the small building instantly plunged into darkness.

Click—

Wen Chu walked silently to the bedside and lit the small kerosene lamp on the bedside table. Under the dim light, he stared faintly at Xiu, who was fumbling to get up from the bed.

“Wen Chu?”

Xiu knelt on the bed, crawling a few steps forward following the slight noise just now. Because his wrists were tied, he didn’t crawl steadily and toppled onto the bed, falling in front of Wen Chu in a prone posture.

A posture that looked very easy to f*ck.

Xiu also realized how bad this posture was and immediately wanted to sit up, but the next second, he felt heat on his wrist.

It was human fingers covering his wrist.

“Xiu.” Wen Chu’s gentle, soft, and non-aggressive youthful voice rang in his ears, speaking words that sent chills down one’s spine.

“Let’s mate, shall we? Mate for ninety-nine years, until you lay an egg for me.”

“That way, you won’t discard me casually, right?”

At this moment, Xiu finally realized that the “love,” “like,” and “mating” Wen Chu spoke of were not absurd words spoken in anger, but that he truly wanted to do this with him.

He was stunned. “Wait a minute, since when did you li…”

Xiu couldn’t speak anymore.

Because Wen Chu directly separated a ball of mist to block his mouth.

So noisy.

Wen Chu thought.

He didn’t want to hear Xiu talk anymore. Xiu always said things that made him sad.

His heart felt like it was crushed, and his tear ducts were hard to control. If he listened to Xiu say a few more words, he wouldn’t be able to stop crying again.

That wouldn’t do; that was too shameful and childish.

He would mate with Xiu very fiercely and never listen to Xiu’s sweet talk again.

Thinking this, Wen Chu got directly onto the bed, behind Xiu.

With one hand, he pressed Xiu’s bound hands onto the top of the other’s head. His other hand turned directly into thick fog, probing in from the collar of Xiu’s cloak and clinging to his body.

Even after resurrecting once, the black energy on Xiu’s body had not diminished.

Wen Chu didn’t understand what he had to do to reduce the black energy a little, just as he didn’t understand how to become lovers with Xiu. Seeing the black energy covering Xiu’s body at this moment, he only had the urge to cry.

Don’t cry, don’t cry.

Wen Chu coaxed himself.

To hold back his tears, he directly let the black energy cover Xiu’s entire body.

And then—

[Lifespan +2376h]
[Remaining Lifespan: 1 Year, 218 Days, 23 Hours]

“Mmph!”

Xiu could no longer control himself. His eyes widened abruptly, his waist collapsed completely, and his whole body trembled violently.

The black energy covering his entire body was eaten.

Xiu had no idea what Wen Chu was doing right now. He only felt every inch of his skin shuddering as it came into contact with the fabric of his clothes.

Too much.

Falling down like this, Xiu slammed hard onto the sheets.

With a shudder, he began to squirt trembling.

The black energy quickly covered him again, but before it could cling back, it was cleaned off by Wen Chu again.

Xiu’s mouth was stuffed tight. Even if he opened his eyes wide, he could only see darkness. Because his hands were bound, he couldn’t even grab the sheets, only helplessly clenching his palms, squeezing low, hoarse tremors from his throat.

“Wu-uh… No…”

Don’t clean off so much at once.

His vague words made Wen Chu stop. Wen Chu tilted his head and looked at Xiu. “No?”

Xiu spoke with difficulty, “Slo…”

He wanted Wen Chu not to eat so fast.

Wen Chu misunderstood his meaning and laughed out loud.

“What right do you have to say no? To say slow down? Did you ask me if I wanted it or not when you left me behind?”

After speaking, Wen Chu reached out and ripped off Xiu’s black robe.

Underneath the black robe, Xiu was neatly dressed in shirt and pants.

Wen Chu pressed down almost maliciously.

“I say you want it, so you want it.”

Xiu was tense all over, shaking like a sieve, completely unable to speak.

Only the honest part in front answered for him.

After the black energy on his body was cleaned off, the cold Evil God completely lost his protective shell and was exposed to the air.

Leaving himself to be tasted by Wen Chu.

Wen Chu wasn’t polite either.

Having tormented enough, he undid Xiu’s last layer of packaging, placing his hands on the other’s lean waist, feeling the other convulse because of him.

Those lingering black energies covered him again.

Wen Chu looked regretfully at Xiu’s body being covered again.

Because he hadn’t seen the sun for years, Xiu’s front was also very white. Although he had enough capital, it looked completely unused, and now it was completely useless.

It could only spit outward.

Normally, Wen Chu would have already transferred lifespan to heal Xiu.

But now was not normal times.

Wen Chu turned a blind eye to this.

He clasped Xiu tightly, pulled him back a bit, and then—

—made Xiu eat it all directly.

At the same time, Wen Chu maliciously let the mist blocking Xiu’s mouth disperse.

“Ah!”

Xiu let out a short cry, then immediately bit his lower lip, his chest heaving violently.

“Xiu, I am mating with you,” Wen Chu stated in a cheerful tone. “Mating in the human way.”

In human form, he also had human organs. Limited by his slender body, his organ wasn’t as exaggerated as Xiu’s, but it far exceeded that of a normal person.

The god, who rarely even touched the air, had his black energy cleaned off and was peeled open all the way.

Wen Chu grabbed Xiu’s hair, pulling his head back, intending to kiss Xiu. But seeing the other’s eyes still tightly closed, he stopped abruptly.

“Xiu,” Wen Chu whispered. “Look at me. Open your eyes and look at me. I’m mating with you.”

Hearing this, Xiu’s eyelashes trembled, but he still didn’t open them.

“No, it will…”

“Shut up.”

Wen Chu’s face darkened, and he reached out to cover Xiu’s mouth directly.

Making excuses again. Saying so much, the result is still unwillingness to look at him.

Wen Chu bit his lower lip hard to stop himself from crying. He put Xiu down, completely losing the desire to kiss the other, and grabbed Xiu’s waist hard to begin.

Love and hate for Xiu were entangled inseparably at this moment. Wen Chu disregarded Xiu’s slight struggles after taking too much, only venting his sadness at being abandoned.

And the despair that, even at this moment, he still liked Xiu.

Thinking of Xiu, he thought of how Xiu fiercely picked him up and then fed him.

Thinking of Xiu, he thought of how Xiu pointed a gun at him, then knitted a sweater for him under the lamp.

Thinking of Xiu…

He thought of Xiu’s decisiveness in abandoning him every time to save the world.

Wen Chu’s vision began to blur again. Looking at Xiu beneath him, who could no longer bite his lip and couldn’t even control his tongue and saliva, Wen Chu stroked the side of the other’s face, his golden hair messy.

Wen Chu murmured as if talking to himself, “Why can’t you like me?”

He was so pretty, so good. Xiu raised him but didn’t like him; he couldn’t accept it.

Xiu couldn’t speak at all. After losing count of how many times he had lost it, his mind had turned into a blank paste.

Only Wen Chu stirred within it.

All of this was too stimulating for the god who had hidden under a black robe for years. He retained only scattered consciousness.

Feeling Wen Chu’s fingertips stroking the side of his face, Xiu turned his head by instinct.

His thin lips met Wen Chu’s fingertips. Xiu extended the tip of his tongue and held Wen Chu’s finger in his mouth.

“Don’t cry…”

Xiu said hoarsely.

Wen Chu was startled, withdrawing his hand in embarrassment and anger. “I didn’t cry. You’re the one crying. You were f*cked to tears by me.”

Although Xiu wasn’t fully conscious, he still knew he didn’t have eyes. He wondered blankly how he could cry without eyes.

But before he could figure it out, he was dragged into the abyss by Wen Chu again.

The black mist and the Evil God sank together in the dim, damp stone tower, while outside the stone tower, black thick fog stretched for thousands of meters.

The thick fog continued to expand and spread until it enveloped half of the West District before barely stopping.

The world’s time was still reversing. People panicked because of the expanding coverage of the fog, but before they could figure anything out, they were forced to move out of the West District.

—The construction in the West District was also demolished in the reversal.

The thick fog grew for a full two weeks before finally stopping. By this time, people had become accustomed to the existence of the thick fog and reached a consensus:

Do not approach the West District filled with thick fog.

Meanwhile, Wen Chu finally stopped amidst the System’s warning sounds.

[Warning: You have lived in a highly polluted environment for half a month. If you cannot inhale clean air within 2 hours, your lifespan will decrease at double the rate.]

Only when the System’s warning panel turned a dazzling bright red did Wen Chu finally release Xiu’s waist.

The doubled decrease in lifespan was irreversible. He still had to stay with Xiu in this world for ninety-nine years; even if he was angry, he couldn’t disregard his life.

Xiu had only a trance-like consciousness left. Wen Chu hadn’t healed him once. At this moment, his lower abdomen had reached an incredible size. Wen Chu couldn’t close it after withdrawing, instead, it spilled out bit by bit.

What spilled out was black mist.

Although Wen Chu had a human form, he was mist after all. What he shot out was also black mist, which could even be considered a part of Wen Chu’s body.

Below the neck, Xiu didn’t have an inch of intact flesh. Having his black energy repeatedly devoured for half a month, every inch of his skin was red and eroded.

If Wen Chu touched him one more time, he would probably expire right there.

But he couldn’t expire either; he could only tremblingly spit air.

It could be said that if his body weren’t still a divine body, he would probably have been f*cked to death by Wen Chu directly.

It took Xiu more than ten minutes to recover. He struggled to get up from the bed, felt forward, and rasped, “Wen… Chu.”

Where is Wen Chu?

Wen Chu was right next to him. He had opened a can of oxygen for himself and was gasping for air, looking coldly at Xiu crawling up from the bed.

Inside the sunless stone tower, Wen Chu didn’t know how much time had passed. He was still immersed in the anger and sadness of just being abandoned by Xiu.

White fog appeared on the breathing mask. Wen Chu didn’t make a sound, staring quietly at Xiu, even hiding further into the darkness.

In this half month, apart from mating with Xiu, he hadn’t done anything. Xiu’s black robe was even hanging on the rack in the stone tower.

Wen Chu thought, if the first thing Xiu does after getting up is put on clothes and run away, I will really disregard everything and strangle Xiu’s neck to fck him to death.*

No, not just fck to death. I won’t give Xiu a chance to speak ever again. Since that callous, cold mouth can’t say nice things, then—*

Wen Chu’s thoughts came to an abrupt halt.

Because Xiu didn’t get out of bed and run away immediately as he imagined.

Xiu moved slowly, feeling over the entire bed. After finding no one, he sat back down.

He knelt up, holding his bulging belly, frowning as he pressed bit by bit, attempting to expel the black fog from his stomach.

But the black fog was ultimately Wen Chu.

Wen Chu’s fingertips moved, and the mist inside Xiu’s stomach began to compress. The belly storing the mist shrank accordingly.

From the originally exaggerated, somewhat sagging size, it turned into the appearance of a slightly bulging three-month pregnancy.

Xiu thought the contents of his stomach had flowed out. Just as he breathed a sigh of relief, he suddenly felt the things inside his stomach move.

Wen Chu controlled the black fog to kick gently against his belly skin.

Like the pulse of some kind of life.

Xiu’s expression froze completely.

At this time, Wen Chu quickly finished a bottle of oxygen. After the System’s red warning finally disappeared, Wen Chu walked silently behind Xiu.

He reached out, hugged Xiu from behind, touched his belly, and said very happily, “Xiu, this is our egg.”

Caught off guard by the hug, Xiu tensed up, then relaxed after hearing his voice.

He frowned, pursed his lips, and touched his belly uncertainly again, repeatedly confirming Wen Chu’s words.

Wen Chu controlled the mist to move again.

This time, it kicked right against Xiu’s hand stroking his belly.

Xiu was completely stunned, while Wen Chu immersed himself in the world he fabricated for himself for his own amusement: “You are pregnant with my egg. We are mates now.”

Xiu asked in disbelief, “Why would I… be pregnant?”

The word “pregnant” cleverly poked Wen Chu’s dark psychology. He instantly smiled with curved eyes, his mood improving significantly.

The most direct manifestation was that he didn’t drag Xiu to continue mating after finishing the oxygen. Instead, he poured a glass of water and fed it to Xiu’s lips.

“Drink.”

Upon touching the liquid in the cup, Xiu drank it without any hesitation.

Watching the golden-haired god holding his belly like this, tilting his head back to drink water from his hand, Wen Chu’s mood improved a few degrees more.

Even after finishing the water, Wen Chu was still unsatisfied. He looked eagerly at Xiu: “Is there anything you want to eat?”

Xiu shook his head. “I don’t need to eat.”

He couldn’t see, so he turned as best he could toward the source of the sound, deducing from Wen Chu’s cheerful voice that the other’s mood should be pretty good.

Xiu chose his words carefully: “Can we talk first now?”

He had no idea what had happened. After resurrection, he was dragged by Wen Chu to f*ck until the sky turned dark, and now he was even pregnant with the other’s child. Even Xiu was completely bewildered.

Clang—

Wen Chu put the empty water glass on the bedside table, turned his head away, his mood worsening again. “We have nothing to talk about.”

“I think there is a lot,” Xiu said patiently.

He couldn’t bear to hurt Wen Chu, and he was indeed frightened by Wen Chu’s crying and laughing state, which was why he indulged the other’s recklessness for so long.

But now it was different.

He was actually pregnant.

A male pregnant, a male god pregnant—this was unheard of. Xiu was afraid he couldn’t keep this child, and Wen Chu would go even crazier.

Even if he wanted to indulge Wen Chu, he had to talk properly at this time to figure out the situation and protect the child.

…If worst comes to worst, I’ll have to use force.

But he felt Wen Chu would dissolve into a puddle of tears directly.

Just as Xiu was swaying back and forth, Wen Chu had been staring moodily at his closed eyes for a long time, finally sitting slowly on the edge of the bed.

“Speak. What do you want to talk about?”

Xiu breathed a sigh of relief. “Start from… when you could turn into a human? Are you that white-haired child I met?”

“Mn.”

Wen Chu nodded, thinking of how he refused to look up to maintain a pretty image in front of Xiu back then, feeling ridiculous.

Xiu didn’t care if he was pretty or not. No matter how pretty he was, Xiu didn’t like him.

Wouldn’t even look at him.

Recalling the appearance of the white-haired youth, Xiu couldn’t help asking, “How old are you? Are you an adult? Do you know what you are doing?”

“I’m eighteen.” Wen Chu answered the question while still angry.

Eighteen…

Xiu’s face showed a mixture of astonishment and shame. For a god who had lived for unknown years, this age was no different from a cub.

He was pregnant with a cub’s child.

Even more absurd.

Xiu spoke faster: “What do you think of this child? Do you want to keep it? You…”

“Xiu.” Wen Chu finally couldn’t help interrupting him.

“Why don’t you call me Wen Chu anymore? Aren’t I your cat? Why do you only care about the child?”

“Don’t you want to look at me? I turned into a human, a particularly beautiful person.”

As Wen Chu spoke, he looked at Xiu with hopeful eyes.

Xiu kept his eyes tightly closed. “…Sorry.”

Wen Chu’s nose stung, and he almost cried disappointingly again. He gritted his teeth hard to endure it and pulled up Xiu’s hand.

This happened to be the hand where he left marks, the ring finger still bearing the un-fading red trace.

Wen Chu pressed Xiu’s hand against his own cheek.

“I didn’t lie to you. If you don’t believe me, touch. I’m really good-looking.”

Xiu was stunned for a moment, his fingertips moving slowly.

From the youth’s cheek with soft flesh upwards, the god stroked over those azure-blue eyes under Wen Chu’s white hair, tracing his eyebrows and eyes in detail.

Round eyes, very big eyes, very tender skin.

And…

Xiu’s fingertips stopped at the corner of Wen Chu’s eye.

His fingertips touched wet traces.

A crybaby.

Author’s Note:
In fact, Wen Chu is probably around 22 or 23, completely different from ordinary people.
But Xiu is a god, in a league of his own, a bit too old, so the contrast is stark. (Sorry, I just like writing some big but completely useless scrapped plotlines) (Not really sorry) (Will write again next time)
Also, as mentioned in the first world, Wen Chu holds grudges very well. Even if the other party isn’t wrong, he holds a grudge. It’s just that usually he won’t seek revenge, he’ll just hold a grudge.
Currently, this is an unusual situation.
