Chapter 1: At Least Leave Gong 1 Some Dignity as a Top

    โ€œForget it. Iโ€™m dropping this mission.โ€

Late December. Snowflakes blurred the skyline of central Seoul, shrouding the high-rises in a misty white.

In the midst of this hazy purity, the Hollis Grand Hotel was hosting a Christmas banquet that gathered the entire entertainment industryโ€™s elites.

    Inside the banquet hall.

A strikingly handsome mixed-blood man leaned lazily against a Roman pillar, swirling his wine glass. This was Qi Huaiโ€”the transmigrator who was about to abandon his mission.

    [What?! No way!]

System No. 3501 panicked, whirling in agitation.

    โ€œWhy not?โ€

Qi Huaiโ€™s smile was warm but empty, his eyes cold as he read aloud the censored mission briefing:

โ€œTransmigrator Qi Huai, greetings. Your mission objective is: redeem [BLEEP] protagonist [BLEEP], and achieve the Pure Love Redemption 1v1 achievement.โ€

Qi Huai: โ€œAnd these censored blanks refer toโ€ฆ?โ€

The system faltered: [โ€ฆW-we canโ€™t guess yet.]

    Heh.

    As expected.

A manhwa world. Say no more.

Qi Huai had long roamed Jinjiang-style worlds, but this was his first time entering the infamous, highly unstable realm of Korean BL manhwa.

A setup where one Shou had six gong entangled with himโ€”fine. Six tops, all psychosโ€”also fine. But now the mission briefing itself was riddled with bug-induced censorship, leaving him completely clueless as to who the actual target was.

    Worse stillโ€”

Because the bug was so severe, only basic character outlines and the Shouโ€™s encounter scenes with each gong remained. All other plot details were gone.

    A total nightmare opening.

Qi Huai lowered his gaze with a sigh. โ€œItโ€™s not that I donโ€™t want to take the missionโ€ฆ but every transmigrator gets 30 minutes to decide. If I refuse, the Main Brain wonโ€™t force me. The baseโ€™s motto is, โ€˜Human genetic hostsโ€™ happiness comes first,โ€™ isnโ€™t it?โ€

[But!] the system tried to convince him, [If you refuse, your 100% perfect mission record will be broken! Doesnโ€™t that matter to you?!]

    Qi Huai raised a brow. โ€œShould it?โ€

    [Arenโ€™t you a perfectionist?!]

Qi Huai blinked, genuinely surprised. โ€œWho told you that? Impossible.โ€

He smiled politely. โ€œAs the only hybrid of ordinary human genes and Alpha genes, I accept imperfection.โ€

And it was precisely those imperfectionsโ€”and the chaos they broughtโ€”that forced him to keep roaming mission worlds.

    The system was struck speechless.

Qi Huai glanced at his Patek Philippe, worth over a billion won, and kindly reminded: โ€œEven if I have 30 minutes to consider, according to the original plot, in about ten minutes, Gong 1, Yoon Nam-hyuk, will meet the protagonist Shou, Baek Soo-kyung.โ€

    [Wh-what do you mean?]

Qi Huai explained patiently: โ€œIgnore the censored parts for now. Regardless, our task is to achieve someoneโ€™s Pure Love Redemption 1v1, correct?โ€

    [โ€ฆCorrect?]

Qi Huai: โ€œThe original manhwa cast has seven. Excluding me, there are six. Do you still remember each oneโ€™s profile?โ€

    The system nodded nervously.

Shou, Baek Soo-kyung โ€” neglected by family, 600 million won in debt, a failed 19-year-old trainee working endless part-time jobs, constantly one step away from ruin. The pitiful little lamb.

Gong 1, Yoon Nam-hyuk โ€” foul-tempered CEO with a hidden s*x-addiction disorder; impotent yet constantly going into heat at random.

Gong 2, Choi Min-jun โ€” gentle-looking manager with dark kinks: NTR and wiretapping.

Gong 3, Park Seok-jin โ€” perfect senior idol, but narcissistic; seeks himself in every lover, even shouting his own name during sex.

Gong 4, Kim Min-kyung โ€” actor from a prosecutor family; secretly an addict, drunkard, and owner of a shady nightclub empire.

Gong 5, Eun Chul-woo โ€” British tycoonโ€™s adopted son, new CEO in showbiz, looks like a buff dark-skinned alphaโ€ฆ but actually a cross-dresser who loves red skirts and white lace.

Gong 6, Qi Huaiโ€™s original body โ€” a half-Chinese, half-American actor who gets aroused seeing men cry, and has a thing for sniffing underwearโ€ฆ arguably the โ€œleast crazyโ€ of the bunch.

    Conclusion:
Besides the Shou being a tragic cinnamon roll, every single top from 1 to 6 was a total pervert. Not a single good one among them!

Qi Huai coaxed gently: โ€œSo whatโ€™s the real priority if we want to complete this mission?โ€

    [1v1?] the system guessed.

    Qi Huai shook his head.

In a Jinjiang world, yes. But in manhwa worlds? The most precious thing wasโ€”

    Pure love.
    Redemption.
    1v1.

The systemโ€™s eyes lit up: [Youโ€™re right! Most missions are about redeeming the Shou. And among this cast, only the Shou still has that pure-love vibeโ€”he must be the target! Wuli host-oppa, youโ€™re amazing!]

Qi Huai ignored the cringey nickname and tapped his watch. โ€œSeven minutes until Gong 1 meets the Shou.โ€

[No! We canโ€™t let them cross paths! Once they tangle, pure love is doomed! Do something, host!]

Qi Huai downed his champagne, smiling faintly. โ€œDid I ever say Iโ€™d take the mission?โ€

    [?!]

The system was stunned by his shamelessness.

    โ€”One minute later.

The gullible system and the record-holding mission master quickly struck a deal.

Qi Huai would accept the mission. In return, the system could provide him with three assistsโ€”without breaking world logic.

[Despicable! Cunning hybrid of human and Alpha genes!]

    Qi Huai raised a brow. โ€œNot โ€˜host-oppaโ€™ anymore?โ€

    [Tch!]

    Shameless bastard!

In the original manhwa, the Shou and Gong 1โ€™s first encounter was the most clichรฉ of setups: the infamous โ€œdrugged wineโ€ trope.

At the Christmas banquet, Yoon Nam-hyukโ€™s wine was spiked with an aphrodisiac. Feverish, he was โ€œhelpedโ€ into a private loungeโ€”coincidentally, the same lounge where Baek Soo-kyung, who had stained his shirt, was trying to wash it.

    Thusโ€”
One lust-crazed predator, one half-undressed lamb.
One forcing, one powerless to resist.
    Their twisted entanglement began.

[Ah! Itโ€™s Yoon Nam-hyuk!] the system yelped.

    โ€œShh,โ€ Qi Huai hushed.

Not far away, a nervous waiter was half-dragging, half-carrying Yoon Nam-hyuk. His face was pale, forehead sweaty, clearly not professional.

Qi Huai quickened his stride, cutting them off. โ€œWaiter.โ€

    โ€œAh!โ€ The waiter jumped.

Seeing a stunningly dressed, breathtaking guest, he froze. This was not someone he could brush off.

    โ€œWhat is it, sir?โ€

Qi Huaiโ€™s smile was unyielding as he wrapped an arm around Yoon Nam-hyukโ€™s waist. โ€œMy friend seems drunk. Hand him over; Iโ€™ll take him to rest.โ€

The waiterโ€™s palms sweated. โ€œIโ€ฆ donโ€™t know if you actually know him. If something were to happenโ€”โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re right. What if something did happen?โ€ Qi Huai said smoothly. โ€œThen letโ€™s compromiseโ€”Iโ€™ll follow you while you take him. Iโ€™ll stay until he wakes. If youโ€™re worried, you can even stay with me. Howโ€™s that?โ€

Of course, it wasnโ€™t fine! The waiterโ€™s eyes flickered. If this man was really close to Yoon Nam-hyuk, heโ€™d be thrown straight in jail once the drugs took effect.

F*ck this job. Not worth it!

He shoved Yoon Nam-hyuk into Qi Huaiโ€™s arms. โ€œI only wanted to help since he looked drunk. Since youโ€™re his friend, please take care of him. Iโ€™ve got work to do!โ€

    Qi Huai: โ€œโ€ฆโ€

The man in his arms radiated heat like a furnace. A tiny red mole at his nose brushed against Qi Huaiโ€™s chin as he leaned in. Qi Huai adjusted his hold and carried him fully into his embrace.

And thenโ€”he scooped him up, bridal style.

[Hostโ€ฆ at least leave Gong 1 some dignity as a top!]

    The system wailed.

    Qi Huai chuckled. โ€œThis wayโ€™s faster.โ€

    Besidesโ€”he quickly realizedโ€”Yoon Nam-hyuk wasnโ€™t fully unconscious.

Qi Huai carried him to the furthest lounge, tossed the tall man face-down onto the bed. Yoon Nam-hyuk lay unmoving.

Qi Huai couldnโ€™t help but laugh. Straightening his clothes and tie, he smirked: โ€œNot going to wake up? Youโ€™ll suffocate like that.โ€

    โ€œHa.โ€

Yoon Nam-hyuk pushed himself up with a cold laugh, fixing his gaze on Qi Huai. His raised brows and gleaming eyes were sharp as obsidian. โ€œIf I donโ€™t wake, doesnโ€™t it make things more convenient for you?โ€

Qi Huai glanced at his flushed face, lips curving. โ€œConvenient for what? For me to fu-ck you?โ€

โ€œYou little shit!โ€ Yoon Nam-hyuk hurled a crystal ornament at him, eyes blazing with fury. โ€œWho the hell do you think you are, to joke with me?โ€

The ornament crashed to the ground.

Qi Huai dodged, frowning. โ€œYouโ€™ve misunderstood.โ€

โ€œMisunderstood? Like what?โ€ Yoon Nam-hyuk panted, expression twisted with disgust.

โ€œLike the person trying to harm you wasnโ€™t me. I just happened to save you.โ€

โ€œI know it wasnโ€™t you.โ€ Yoon Nam-hyukโ€™s face grew redder, his pale skin flushed with feverish heat. He sneered. โ€œYouโ€™re just a handy tool. A knife. Coincidence? I donโ€™t believe in luck.โ€

โ€œAnd one more thingโ€ฆโ€ He narrowed his eyes. โ€œWhen you speak to me, use honorifics.โ€

    [Ah! Host!]
