EHRPS CH53
The line from the original novel, full of mockery and ridicule, was spoken by Lin Zhu softly and affectionately, his volume as low as if coaxing someone to sleep.
However, after hearing it, Yan Ruoyun didn’t feel the slightest bit of sleepiness. Instead, his heart trembled. It was as if a fortress about to be breached had shrunk into a ball, faintly revealing fear.
…But he also couldn’t help but look forward to it.
The bedside night light cast a warm yellow halo.
Half of the blond youth’s silhouette was shrouded in darkness. His highly aggressive facial features were carved by light and shadow, presenting an increasingly sharp aura. His lips were rather thin, often pursed tightly like a block of solid ice.
Yan Ruoyun watched him.
For a moment.
He suddenly felt that Lin Zhu looked very lonely.
Yan Ruoyun couldn’t help but raise his hand to stroke the youth’s face. He craned his neck and covered the other’s slightly tense corners of the mouth with his own soft, moist lips and tongue, then murmured:
“…Lin Zhu, I want to look at your face tonight.”
“Okay.”
The youth opened his mouth, turning from a guest into the host to kiss back, and said in a muffled voice, “You can look as long as you want…”
The light and shadow swayed.
It made Yan Ruoyun’s eyes blur and his head dizzy.
He realized he couldn’t see Lin Zhu’s face clearly at all—
It was as if he had been pulled by the youth onto a train with terrible road conditions.
Outside the window was total darkness. Mist clung to the glass, seeping out trails of tear marks. Swaying. Bumping.
His head bumped against the train’s backrest time and time again. However, one of the youth’s palms cupped the top of his head, blocking the sharp pain, but exchanging it for another wave of dull pain.
That pain was swelling, it was fullness, it was gathering momentum to strike.
Lin Zhu’s movements became very slow. A drop of sweat slid down from his forehead, passing his cheek. Because of a certain approach from him, it flew off, landing with a pat on the man’s eyelid, then slid along the wrinkle of his closed eye down to the corner…
It looked like a hot tear.
The man closed his eyes, his expression very dazed. It was as if his brains had been shaken evenly by the bumpy train, unable to squeeze out a single sliver of rationality.
Lin Zhu could only speak up to remind him.
“…Open up.”
“Ge, open up for me.”
This was a train with no return trip, heading towards a Neverland with no sorrow. Lin Zhu stood at the entrance, feeling the overwhelming damp heat sweeping towards him. Wave after wave.
He stared at the scenery inside the window for a long time.
He saw distant mountains and the setting sun, and also saw a misty lake. Then Lin Zhu leaned closer, wanting to see more clearly—in the mist-shrouded grayish-green lake, he saw his own sweat-drenched face…
“Open the door, let me in.”
He knocked on the door time and again, urging time and again.
Yan Ruoyun’s hands were pinned down. He couldn’t bite his knuckles like before to swallow his shouts back into his throat. He shook his head, looking both pained and exhilarated…
But this wasn’t a refusal.
The next instant.
Lin Zhu sensed that the natural resistance had been deliberately removed. The man opened all domains to him, allowing him to roughly and recklessly wreak havoc everywhere.
Yan Ruoyun cried fiercely.
The blond youth, however, was very silent.
His breathing trembled along with his movements, extremely heavy.
The whole city fell into the deep curtain of night.
The man who presented a cold and mature front to the outside world seemed to have suffered a tremendous grievance. He sobbed and choked, retreating, yet unable to resist his attachment to his little lover, being pushed step by step…
—Pushed towards the dawn.
It was dawn.
Lin Zhu’s knot finally subsided.
The stars had been noisy all night, plugging their ears to sleep.
The dark sky turned grayish-white, and the misty purple morning light drifted on the horizon, but no one was there to tend to it.
“…”
In the bathroom, the sound of water splashed.
Yan Ruoyun soaked in a half-filled tub of water, looking very much like he was taking in more air than he was letting out.
He exhaled a breath in lingering fear, his lowered eyes glancing over again and again. The breath he had just let out caught in his throat again, and he couldn’t help but say,
“Little Dog Lin, my stomach is swollen.”
Normally, an Alpha’s knotting time is about 10-15 minutes, but Lin Zhu was different; his knotting time was exceptionally long.
So long that the two of them, unmoving, had let the sweat on their bodies dry.
Lin Zhu was standing to the side taking a shower. Only after washing away the grime on his body did he step into the bathtub.
The bedroom was dim, but the bathroom’s ceiling light was very bright.
He followed the man’s line of sight and glanced over. He too couldn’t quite believe his eyes, yet he couldn’t argue with it. Finally, he could only rub his nose and say softly,
“…I’ll help you wash it out.”
As soon as he finished speaking.
He saw the man raise his hand. His fingertip pointed below his navel as he complained: “You were so fierce, it reached here.”
Lin Zhu: “…………”
Real or fake?
It shouldn’t be that exaggerated, right?
Yan Ruoyun interpreted the thoughts beneath his little boyfriend’s expressionless face in a second. He bent his fingers, his knuckles slightly arched, and flicked water droplets onto the youth’s face with a patter, saying hoarsely:
“Don’t believe me? Through a layer of skin, I saw it all… really didn’t hold back…”
Lin Zhu’s face was splashed full of water, his expression blank.
Before he could react, Yan Ruoyun moved with difficulty, feeling the fullness in his lower abdomen, and sighed faintly: “I feel like I won’t be able to wash it clean no matter how I try… Little Dog Lin, after you wake up, buy me a box of medicine.”
“Remembered?”
Lin Zhu couldn’t help but cough softly twice, then rubbed his nose. He hung his head, nodded, and replied: “…Okay.”
He thought again of the campus couples he had encountered before. Pure and innocent, at most they just ate meals together, held hands strolling around campus, and even their kisses were restrained.
…Not like him.
Making his partner take medicine.
Lin Zhu leaned in and asked softly: “Ge, are you still uncomfortable?”
Yan Ruoyun held his profile with both hands and shook it left and right. The youth’s wet blond hair followed the shaking, flicking off a whole bunch of water droplets, “Not really, you did your homework so well…”
He was referring to that stack of materials.
Facts proved,
It was indeed useful.
In this aspect, Lin Zhu was extremely inexperienced at first, but as the days they lived together grew longer, he also became increasingly proficient.
Without exaggeration, Yan Ruoyun could barely keep his eyes open, and even felt a little lightheaded. If it weren’t for considering his little boyfriend’s studies and that he shouldn’t be too distracted…
Tsk.
Those things in the nightstand drawer were probably used up long ago.
Yan Ruoyun held the youth’s face and squeezed it, making him reveal those sharp canine teeth, and sighed with emotion: “Grow up quickly.”
After saying that, he felt it wasn’t right and added, “You’re only allowed to grow in age and height, you’re not allowed to grow anywhere else… I really will die.”
Lin Zhu’s face was pulled taut, unable to speak.
He helped wash for about forty minutes before barely managing to clean out most of it. There was still some that couldn’t be cleared out no matter what. Finally, Yan Ruoyun was terribly sleepy and gave up, saying: “Going to sleep, going to sleep, let it come out slowly on its own…”
Outside, the morning light was just dawning.
Lin Zhu forced himself to stay awake. With one arm wrapped around the man, he used his other hand to pinch his phone, found a pharmacy, and placed a delivery order for medicine to arrive at a scheduled time.
The time was set for six hours later, around 12 noon.
Only after placing the order did Lin Zhu safely close his eyes. Yet he couldn’t help but open them again to stare at the man’s sleeping face for a while, leaning over to lightly kiss the still-red corner of his eye.
“—Have sweet dreams.”
Perhaps because he had something on his mind, Lin Zhu woke up exactly at twelve. The man in his arms was still sleeping, his breathing slow.
Yan Ruoyun really liked to throw a leg over when he slept.
Lin Zhu carefully put his leg down, tucked it into the blanket, then grabbed his phone and went to the living room in advance to wait for the delivery call.
He had just pulled the bedroom door shut, before it even fully closed, when he heard a doorbell ring from outside the front door.
The sound was quite loud.
Afraid of waking Yan Ruoyun, Lin Zhu quickly took large strides forward and slapped the doorbell off, not even looking closely at the figures on the video intercom screen.
Other than the delivery person, it wouldn’t be anyone else.
Lin Zhu opened the door without any guard. His gaze abruptly met those of the two people outside. His brain blanked for a moment, but the phrase ‘Thank you, give it to me’ had already smoothly slipped out of his mouth.
Outside the door stood two similarly dumbfounded people.
A man and a woman.
The man was a gray-haired elder, wearing a Zhongshan suit. His face was solemn, his eyelids drooped, but his eyes were extremely clear and sharp, full of vigor.
The woman was younger, looking only in her early fifties. Her dress was elegant, her features delicate and atmospheric. Even though a few traces of time had climbed the corners of her eyes, it couldn’t hide her outstanding beauty from her youth.
Hearing the blond youth say ‘give it to me’, the middle-aged woman was startled and subconsciously handed over the yak bone powder gift box in her hand…
Lin Zhu also subconsciously took it.
Silence.
Dead silence.
The most terrifying thing was, Lin Zhu burned hot easily and wasn’t used to overly restrictive long-sleeved pajamas and pants, nor could he adapt to Yan Ruoyun’s belted silk bathrobe… So, he was currently wearing a cotton sleeveless tank top and shorts that just reached his knees.
His neck, collarbones, and arms were all exposed.
And those ambiguous marks were also exposed.
Just then.
The elevator doors opened with a ‘ding’.
The delivery person stepped forward carrying a clear bag. His gaze swept over the three of them, finally landing on Lin Zhu, and he quickly asked, “Hello, is this the pharmacy delivery you ordered?”
Lin Zhu took it dazedly.
“…Thank you, give it to me.”
The gazes of the two people opposite him fell on the bag being exchanged between him and the delivery person, clearly catching the words on the medicine box inside the bag.
Misfortunes never come singly.
The delivery person quickly left this awkward scene, while Yan Ruoyun’s hoarse voice drifted out from inside the door again, getting closer and closer. He called his little boyfriend’s name over and over again,
“Lin Zhu, Little Dog Lin, Hubby… did the contraceptives arrive?”
“I don’t want to get a big belly, quickly give me two pills.”
Lin Zhu: “…………”
The two people outside the door: “…………”
At this moment.
The system suddenly popped up, “Oh ho.”
“Host, it’s the protagonist’s mother and grandfather.”
“Congratulations, congratulations, meeting the parents so soon.”
