Su Yiran didn’t get a reply from Ting-ge for a long time and couldn’t help but glance at him, feeling that Ting-ge’s expression was a bit strange: “Ting-ge?”

Gu Yuanting looked at Ranran, so excited that he didn’t quite know what to do with his hands and feet. He managed to calm himself, but still stammered: “I, I, we… let’s depart in three days, how about it?”

Su Yiran: “?” What, why is he stammering now?

He saw Ting-ge’s excited and flustered look and couldn’t help but feel a little touched. Was just agreeing to go out and play with him enough to make Ting-ge so excited?

Su Yiran remembered Ting-ge’s previous depression. Although the doctor’s tests showed he was fine now, he couldn’t be careless. Su Yiran reflected on himself; he needed to be even better to Ting-ge and give him more attention.

Gu Yuanting looked at Ranran smiling at him, his heart melting. He kissed the little dimple on Ranran’s right cheek, then kissed his soft lips again: “Shall we go eat first?”

The two went downstairs to eat. Gu Yuanting told Mother Su about their plan to go out for a few days, and Mother Su had no objections. She even smiled and assured them: “Don’t worry about things at home, I’m here. You two just go and have a good time.”

After dinner, while the family was watching TV and chatting, the doorbell suddenly rang. Su Yiran was puzzled; who would come to their house at this hour? No one had mentioned it beforehand.

Su Yiran was about to open the door, but Gu Yuanting had already stood up: “I’ll go.”

A moment later, Su Yiran saw Ting-ge return from outside. No one was following him, but Ting-ge was carrying a small black box.

Su Yiran guessed that someone had specifically delivered the box and curiously asked him, “What’s that?”

Gu Yuanting’s hand holding the box stiffened for a moment. He said nonchalantly, “Some documents my assistant sent.”

Su Yiran only asked casually and didn’t pay much attention. Gu Yuanting breathed a sigh of relief: “I’ll go to the study to handle the documents first. You all watch TV.”

Su Yiran nodded: “Okay, you go.”

He watched Ting-ge carry the box upstairs, thought for a moment, and didn’t continue watching TV. Instead, he went into the kitchen, peeled a few mangoes, and started making mango salad. After making the salad, he freshly squeezed a glass of juice.

Su Yiran served a portion of the salad to Mother Su and the nanny in the living room, letting them eat, then carried the remaining plate of salad and the juice upstairs to Ting-ge.

Gu Yuanting carried the box into the study, placed it aside, and first opened his computer, pulling up the finished 3D model to examine it carefully from all angles.

After watching for a while, he picked up the box and unlocked it. Inside the box, rows of black velvet small boxes were neatly placed side by side, along with several tools for magnification and observation.

He picked up one of the small boxes, opened it for a glance, and was about to take out the contents when suddenly, two knocks sounded at the door. Ranran’s voice sounded from outside, and then the door was pushed open.

Su Yiran, carrying the salad and juice, had just pushed the door open and walked in when he saw Ting-ge quickly throw something he was holding into a box on the desk, making a “clink” sound.

Gu Yuanting looked at Ranran, a little nervous: “Why did you come over?” As he spoke, he reached out, feigning nonchalance, and closed the lid of the box.

Su Yiran walked over with the salad and juice, placing them on the desk: “I made some mango salad for you to try, and freshly squeezed juice too.” He glanced at the box, feeling a little curious, but didn’t pay much attention.

Gu Yuanting’s heart sweetened. He took a spoonful of mango salad: “It’s delicious.” He then took a sip of juice: “It’s good.”

Su Yiran smiled and patted Ting-ge’s head, then his gaze swept across the computer screen and he was startled: “Is this design software?”

Gu Yuanting’s heart immediately rose in tension. He had only hurriedly closed the 3D image, but hadn’t had time to exit the software: “Yes, the company is making an investment in design.”

Su Yiran simply said “Oh,” not understanding much about investments, so he didn’t ask further: “I won’t disturb your work then, I’ll go downstairs now.”

Gu Yuanting watched Ranran leave and then breathed a sigh of relief. He looked down at the mango salad and juice Ranran had brought him, feeling sweet inside. He ate every spoonful of the salad and drank all the juice before he started his own work.

He reopened the 3D design drawing and looked at it for a while. It was a diamond ring design, which he had designed and drawn by hand on paper, and then created on the computer himself.

During this period, every time he entered the study to start work, he would carefully look at this 3D image to gain joy, peace, and anticipation.

Gu Yuanting reopened the box and the smaller boxes inside. Each black velvet box contained sparkling, brilliant small diamonds.

Gu Yuanting thought of the ring that Ranran always wore on his left ring finger… the original owner’s diamond ring.

From a very early time, he had been planning to replace that old ring.

He wanted to replace it with a true wedding ring that belonged solely to him and Ranran.

Originally, he wanted to personally handle everything from sorting the rough diamonds to designing, cutting, processing, and polishing them. However… after actual attempts, he realized he had thought too much.

Gu Yuanting was unwilling to recall the finished product he had finally polished…

In the end, he could only select the rough diamonds and participate in the diamond’s design. The cutting, polishing, and other processes were left to professionals. The small boxes contained the finished small diamonds.

Unable to personally craft the diamonds for the wedding ring, Gu Yuanting lowered his expectations and decided to personally craft the wedding ring itself, from the design of the ring to the creation of the setting, the setting of the diamonds, and the final polishing.

Today, he had spent the day making the ring settings. He had failed dozens of times before, and today he failed a few more times, but finally, he succeeded.

He had always kept the wedding ring a secret from Ranran, doing it all clandestinely. He was afraid of revealing any flaws that might make Ranran suspicious of his identity.

Gu Yuanting picked up the diamond magnifying glass and diamond observation scope from the box and began to carefully select the small diamonds one by one.

The main diamond for the wedding ring was already set. These small diamonds were pre-selected accent diamonds for the wedding ring, and he had to personally choose which ones to set on the ring.

Gu Yuanting spent an entire night carefully selecting nine accent diamonds. For the remaining three days, he went out every day to make the wedding ring, spending almost the entire day in the workshop.

However, after the setting was made, the remaining diamond setting and ring polishing were relatively simpler for him. By the third day, he had finally finished making the wedding ring he was going to give Ranran.

As for his own wedding ring, he had entrusted it to the master at this private workshop, and the master had finished it earlier than him.

Tomorrow was the day they were to depart for their island vacation.

Gu Yuanting, with his and Ranran’s wedding rings in his pocket, returned home. Su Yiran was in the bedroom packing luggage. Seeing him return, he quickly said, “Come and see, is there anything else we need to bring?”

He paced around the room, rummaging and searching: “I keep feeling like I’ve forgotten something, but I can’t remember what it is.”

Gu Yuanting looked at his Ranran, and touched the wedding ring in his pocket. His chest heaved with excitement. He couldn’t help but stride forward, embracing Ranran tightly.

He didn’t bother to look for anything else to bring, instead cupped Ranran’s chin and leaned down to kiss him passionately, overwhelmed with excitement.

Su Yiran was both comfortable and overwhelmed by Ting-ge’s passionate kisses. He no longer worried about what he had forgotten and responded wholeheartedly to Ting-ge’s kisses.

After the kiss, Gu Yuanting’s excitement was palpable. He looked at Ranran in his arms, and couldn’t help but kiss Ranran’s lips again: “Ranran, we…” are about to get married.

Marriage, marriage.

Su Yiran stared at Ting-ge’s lips, as if mesmerized, and kissed Ting-ge back. Hearing his words, he uttered an “hmm?” with a nasal sound, indicating a question.

Gu Yuanting couldn’t reveal the truth. He suppressed his excitement, swallowed the unspoken words, and lowered his head again to kiss Ranran tenderly and lingeringly.

He was about to have their exclusive wedding with Ranran.

They were getting married.

He, and Ranran, getting married.

The next day.

It wasn’t until they were in the car, on their way to the airport, that Su Yiran suddenly remembered what he had forgotten.

“I forgot the first aid kit!” He looked at Gu Yuanting beside him, annoyed. Yesterday morning, he was still thinking about bringing the first aid kit. How could he forget such a big item in the end?

In the past, when he and Ting-ge traveled, they would always carry a small first aid kit just in case. Why did he forget it this time?

“It’s okay,” Gu Yuanting stroked Ranran’s head, “They have everything there, no need to worry.”

Su Yiran only relaxed when he heard Ting-ge say that: “That’s good then.”

It was Su Yiran’s first time on a private jet. After boarding, he couldn’t help but curiously explore the plane, discovering that it was like a luxurious suite, with a living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen, and even an audio-visual room—everything imaginable.

Su Yiran pressed a remote control, and saw the wall of the cabin slowly retract to both sides, revealing the audio-visual screen that occupied half the wall, very high-tech.

Gu Yuanting, seeing Ranran’s interest, asked him, “Ranran, do you like it?”

Su Yiran nodded, “I like it.” He found it quite interesting, his first time on one, and very novel.

Ranran likes the plane. Gu Yuanting nodded, he knew.

The direct flight from China to an island within Country Y’s waters took eleven hours. Su Yiran was initially very curious about private jets and such unique things, but after two hours, the novelty wore off.

He and Ting-ge leaned together, watching TV in the living room, ate in the dining room, and slept embraced in the bedroom, spending a day normally on the plane.

There was a small airport built on the island. When the plane arrived at the island, due to the time difference, it was already past nine in the evening there.

Su Yiran was still asleep. Gu Yuanting didn’t wake him. He wrapped him in a blanket, picked him up directly, carried him off the plane, and took a car to his villa on the island.
