    Chapter Index

    Tu Tianba lost completely.

He, who fancied himself a grandmaster of eating mouths, was struck out of his wits by a single kiss from the man. Especially the other’s phrase, ‘Close Dao Companions do this’, this, this, this—

This clearly meant he loved him to death!

    Dammit.

He had no choice but to temporarily set aside the minor matter of being slightly inferior at eating mouths. Tu Tianba didn’t dwell on it, instantly kicking that tiny bit of frustration hovering in his heart far, far away.

However, a feather took the opportunity to slip through his defenses, teasing his heart over and over again.

His heart itched, an unbearable itch.

Tu Tianba hummed and hawed for a long time, unable to utter a single word. Fortunately, his comprehension was extremely high. He instantly grasped the so-called kissing, immediately pressing the man down and sucking back on his tongue, making loud smack, smack sounds.

Don’t panic, this couldn’t stump him.

It was just that after a short while, the man pushed against his shoulders, struggling to let out a series of disjointed syllables:

“Ligh- lighter, not like this. Let go first, let me, mgh… hah, let me catch my breath…”

Tu Tianba was completely intoxicated, unable to stop. Hearing the man say this, he actually sucked even more vigorously. So much so that after a moment of silence, the man suddenly let out a soft cry,

    “It hurts, a little bit.”

Although the man’s speech was slurred, Tu Tianba heard it loud and clear. He alertly let go, looked up, gripped the man’s shoulders, and checked him left and right, muttering in annoyance:

“Oh my, you really are useless…!”

    “Where is it uncomfortable now?”

Seeing how readily the youth believed him, Nie Wuhui couldn’t help but feel a bit ashamed. But the youth’s way of thinking differed from others, so he could only guide him tactfully like this.

    It was a stopgap measure.

He pursed his lips and said in a low voice, “The tip of my tongue.”

Nie Wuhui had lived a life of pure asceticism for over a millennium. He never in his wildest dreams imagined that the day would come when he would proactively seduce a young cultivator. He instructed with much hesitation:

    “You…”

“You should be gentler, don’t be so reckless…”

After speaking, his own face flushed red.

Tu Tianba frowned. He had no patience to listen to the man nag like this. He straightforwardly told the other to stick his tongue out for him to inspect, only to be refused.

    Tu Tianba: “?”

Tu Tianba thought the man was hiding his illness out of fear of treatment. He had a short temper and wanted to scold him. Yet when he hovered over the man and saw the other purse his lips, shaking his head silently…

His face seemed flushed red from lack of oxygen.

For some unknown reason, the anger in his heart instantly vanished completely, while another kind of heat surged up.

    It was very hot.

It was just that the man’s phrase ‘close Dao Companions’ suddenly rang in Tu Tianba’s head again. After a moment of thought, he ultimately decided to continue being a considerate, good Dao Companion.

He awkwardly raised a hand and patted the man’s head twice, as if afraid of scaring him. He even deliberately lowered his volume, asking:

“Don’t be afraid. I might have been too fierce and accidentally hurt you. It wasn’t on purpose. Let me check if there’s a wound.”

    Nie Wuhui: “…”

Aside from the old Sect Master who passed away many years ago, the youth was only the second person to ever pat his head.

Being comforted by a youth who, in his eyes, was entirely a child, Nie Wuhui’s thoughts were unimaginably complex, yet a different sort of feeling arose.

    It made one space out.

Suddenly, he heard the youth say again,

“I have medicine here. I guarantee you’ll be fine once you take it.”

Nie Wuhui instantly sobered up: “…”

Honestly speaking, he was still somewhat wary about taking medicine right now and temporarily dared not ingest the youth’s spiritual medicine.

He fell silent for a moment, admitting frankly:

    “…I’m not afraid.”

A flash of inspiration hit Tu Tianba, recalling a word the man had mentioned before. He asked as if suddenly enlightened, “Oh, oh, could it be you think sticking your tongue out is ungraceful? You really have so many issues… ah, no, you’re just too particular!”

He unconsciously scratched his face twice and continued:

“Our relationship is so close, you don’t need to care so much. I won’t laugh at you.”

“Of course, you can’t laugh at me either!”

Taking precautions, Tu Tianba snuck in a personal agenda. Seeing the man still pursing his lips, he boldly opened his mouth, sticking his tongue out as he spoke:

“Look, I’ve already stuck mine out, so you don’t need to be coy…”

    Before he could finish.

    Tu Tianba lost his voice.

It felt like his tongue had been bitten off.

Saying so might be a bit of an exaggeration—

The man merely, amidst Tu Tianba’s expression that looked like he was playing a hanged ghost, silently tilted his neck up and lightly hooked Tu Tianba’s tongue with the tip of his own, as if setting an example for him. Then, he said in a low voice:

“As light as this, and I won’t feel uncomfortable.”

But Tu Tianba truly couldn’t speak anymore.

His whole body stiffened. He only felt as if a soft, fluffy cloud had been stuffed into his mouth by the man. He neither wanted to spit it out, nor was it easy to swallow down, and he was afraid that if he moved even a bit, the cloud would melt.

    Dizzy, incredibly dizzy.

Before long, Tu Tianba felt as if he had become that cloud, blown disoriented by the wind. It wasn’t until he caught a glimpse of a very faint smile appearing on the man’s face that he stuttered out an “oh.”

    Silence fell between them.

Tu Tianba and the man stared at each other, wide-eyed to narrow-eyed. His brain could no longer hold thoughts of that perky chest; only this warm, nimble tongue remained.

The air in the cave seemed to turn viscous.

Tu Tianba finally reacted. He slowly lowered his head, imitating what the man had just done, and kissed him very lightly.

Their lips parted slightly, the tips of their tongues touching gently.

After the kiss, Tu Tianba pulled back, observing the man’s expression from above, unconsciously holding his breath. “It doesn’t hurt, right?”

The man’s features were soft, and he shook his head.

Tu Tianba stared at him for a while, unable to resist poking the tip of his tongue out to lick his own lower lip, secretly savoring the taste.

He seemed to have found the joy in it. Chuckling mischievous “hehes,” he lowered his head and kissed the man again and again. The man cooperated, causing another slightly wet, soft sound to echo in the cave alongside the crackling of the fire.

    This was kissing.

…Their relationship was very close indeed.

    The firelight danced.

Two figures overlapping on the white jade bed were cast onto the stone wall to the side, inseparable from each other.

Tu Tianba was hooked, addicted, utterly immersed in it.

He kissed for quite a while, when suddenly, the man’s inquiry reached his ears: “…Can we start dual cultivating now?”

    Whoosh.

    Tu Tianba’s rationality abruptly returned.

In the past, it was always him talking about dual cultivation while the man remained silent. Now that their roles were reversed, Tu Tianba finally realized that when dual cultivation was actually at hand, he was actually a bit nervous.

Could this be the so-called “timidity upon nearing home”?

    Tu Tianba, oh, Tu Tianba.

    You need to stand tall!

…No, this Venerable does not fight unprepared battles.

Hmph, it’s not like I’m afraid of him!

After a flurry of internal activity, Tu Tianba finally came up with a countermeasure. He instantly withdrew his ever-changing expressions, putting on a domineering look that said, ‘Damn man, stop ordering this Venerable around,’ and then, with the speed of a thunderbolt, slammed his head right into the man’s chest!

    Woohoo!

    So smooth, so soft!

Tu Tianba turned his face, his cheek deformed by the pressure against the man’s chest. He rubbed against it, then felt something right under his cheek…

    A little bit poking.

Tu Tianba couldn’t help but reach out and grab it twice.

The man hissed, drawing in a sharp breath.

    It poked even more.

Tu Tianba was indeed impatient to dual cultivate thoroughly with the man. But having fallen short in the matter of eating mouths, he was even more unwilling to show cowardice when it came to dual cultivation. Therefore, he kept thinking about reviewing the book to properly study the details of dual cultivation.

He was terrified that if he performed poorly, the man wouldn’t be close with him anymore. Wouldn’t the loss outweigh the gain?

Furthermore, what if he damaged his husbandly dignity?!

Fortunately, he was inherently intelligent and thought of a way out in a flash.

Tu Tianba seized upon the man’s soft hiss, abruptly raised his little face, and asked with the speed of a machine gun, filled with immense concern: “Does it hurt again? Let me blow on it for you. Oh my, how did it get so swollen? I’d better go out and pick some herbs to apply to it, so it heals faster…!”

The current scene was very bizarre.

At least, Nie Wuhui found it very bizarre.

Because the youth stared fixedly at… while speaking. Listening to his words, it was actually as if he were negotiating and communicating with his… making Nie Wuhui, a grown man, inexplicably embarrassed.

The next moment, the youth jumped off him.

His face was clearly full of reluctance, yet he said with a firm tone,

“Wait for me, I’ll be right back.”

    “I’ll go look… cough, I’ll go pick some herbs…”

Nie Wuhui sometimes truly couldn’t grasp what he was thinking. He merely raised a hand to grab his sleeve, remained silent for a long moment, and offered another solution.

“That ointment, don’t you still have some left?”

    “Applying that will be fine…”

As soon as his voice fell.

Tu Tianba’s face full of reluctance turned into a face full of despair.

Because the sight of the bare-chested man asking him to stay was truly impossible to refuse!

Tu Tianba wanted to leave but also didn’t want to leave. Glancing at the two scratch marks on the man’s chest, he couldn’t help but swallow hard, letting out a huge gulp in the quiet cave.

    “Slurp.”

After a fierce internal struggle, Tu Tianba couldn’t resist the temptation. He shuffled back with small steps, actually pulling out the medicine box with only a thin layer left at the bottom, and began applying the medicine to the man.

Even though the scratched area was not large, Tu Tianba, staring blankly, used up all the ointment.

He gazed uncontrollably at that patch of skin gleaming with moisture under the firelight. Even if the man hadn’t held him back, he wouldn’t have been able to walk away.

In a daze, Tu Tianba rubbed the last bit of ointment left on his finger onto the man’s collarbone. The internal struggle in his head grew even more intense.

His emotions could never be hidden; they always showed on his face.

Nie Wuhui watched him sigh and groan in conflict one moment, chuckle “hehe” the next, his hands misbehaving by touching here and there. In the blink of an eye, an intense expression of reluctance appeared in his eyes.

By some strange coincidence, a flash of inspiration hit Nie Wuhui, and he seemed to understand somewhat what the youth was thinking.

    It couldn’t be, right?

But just in case, Nie Wuhui suppressed a faint shiver coming from a certain spot and asked in a low voice:

    “Are you…”

Tu Tianba instantly puffed up like an angry cat, hopping mad, a massive string of words tumbling out of his mouth: “Of course not! How could I possibly worry that an unsuccessful dual cultivation would damage my dignity? How could cramming at the last minute ever happen to me?! Stop slandering people!”

    Nie Wuhui: “…”

    It really was like that.

Having made up his mind to help the youth dissolve the ancient resentment within the demonic cauldron, Nie Wuhui simply hardened his heart. He directly stripped off all his remaining clothes, standing completely naked before the youth, grabbing his hand and pulling it toward himself…

    At the same time.

He also said in a low voice:

“…I know absolutely nothing about dual cultivation. I really don’t understand what it’s all about. Could you teach me?”

Tu Tianba instantly felt his head grow heavy, his eyes unable to take it all in.

    It looked good everywhere.

He mumbled, “Okay, okay, I love being a teacher the most…”
