by DewdropTLXie Jianwei knew full well there was nothing wrong with his food or drink; he had not been drugged with an aphrodisiac, but rather, his body had reached a specific interval and spontaneously produced this reaction.
He was hardly an innocent teenage girl, so he naturally understood what was happening.
He wanted Lu Li, craving him so intensely that his backside was drenched and wet.
This was utterly mortifying.
Panting softly, Xie Jianwei tried his best to quell the feverish heat surging through his frame, but it proved entirely futile. His mind was crammed full of Lu Li, saturated with memories of everything they had done together between the sheets.
Yet he had just kicked Lu Li to the curb; if he summoned him back now, wouldn’t the dream world collapse?
Still, this body was downright unbearable. He wanted to make love; his overheated head was reduced to those few words alone.
Lu Li, Lu Li…
Relying on what little reason he had left, Xie Jianwei racked his brain for a solution. Suddenly, a spark of clarity flashed through his mind, and realization dawned.
Whatever happened to him in this dream world was entirely scripted by Lu Li’s subconscious.
Evidently, that big bastard had no intention of shortchanging himself either.
Even though he had been dumped, and even though his heart had been shredded to pieces by the angst, he still fought to secure the bedroom perks he deserved.
For Xie Jianwei’s body to end up like this was precisely what Lu Li desired.
He was waiting for Xie Jianwei to seek him out, waiting for Xie Jianwei to need him, even if purely out of primal lust.
Since it was Lu Li’s own script, Xie Jianwei simply following along would never cause the dream to crumble.
Xie Jianwei dialed his assistant’s line: “Bring Lu Li here. Use whatever means necessary.”
He could not endure it any longer; even in broad daylight, he refused to wait another second.
Before long, Lu Li appeared before him.
Parted for seven days, seeing each other again carried the sweet edge of an absence making the heart grow fonder, though that was purely Military Advisor Xie’s perspective.
Lu Li never imagined that after being dismissed, he would lay eyes on this wicked man again so soon.
To claim he had not longed for Xie Jianwei would be a lie; he missed him so acutely that he could barely close his eyes night after night.
The fiercer the longing, the deeper the love, and the heavier the hatred grew.
He craved dragging him down from the clouds, craved dragging him straight into the depths of hell, hungered to lock him away forever within his grasp… This twisted obsession swelled by the day, impossible to suppress.
Why had Xie Jianwei summoned him? To humiliate him further?
Aside from that, Lu Li could not conceive of any other reason.
Xie Jianwei dismissed everyone in the room and walked toward Lu Li with trembling legs.
Lu Li cast his gaze downward, his handsome features devoid of the slightest expression.
Even if his heart felt as though sliced by blades, even if he craved kissing him to the point of madness, even if he pathetically yearned for his smiles, his remaining shred of pride forced him to maintain absolute restraint, refusing to betray an ounce of weakness.
Clutching the fabric of the man’s chest, Xie Jianwei’s lips parted on a faint shiver: “Hold me.”
A deafening roar detonated inside Lu Li’s head.
Xie Jianwei initiated the kiss, pressing hot lips and a seductive tongue against him like a siren bent on bewitching the mortal world.
Lu Li did not even know where he found the will to push him away: “Xie Jianwei, what is the meaning of this?”
With glistening, tear-bright eyes, Xie Jianwei pleaded in a voice strained with unbearable want: “Lu Li… Lu Li…”
He murmured his name in a husky, breathy cadence that melted the ears, far more intoxicating than the sweetest love confessions in existence. Lu Li could only rely on his fingernails biting into his palms to anchor his sanity.
Yet soon, that paper-thin thread of reason snapped with a violent crack.
Because right before his eyes, Xie Jianwei stripped away his clothes, bare and unclad, pressing his supple, sensual body flush against him in a wave of scorching heat.
The two indulged in a thoroughly juicy cowgirl ride.
Having finally reached sweet release, Xie Jianwei slumped against Lu Li’s chest in utter bliss.
Xie Jianwei loved this afterglow. Holding each other naked, drinking in each other’s scent, listening to the rhythmic beat of their hearts. Even if they did nothing at all, it embodied an eternity together.
Riding on top had drained his stamina, leaving his breathing ragged: “Lu Li…”
Having spoken those two words, the next three nearly slipped past his lips, but Xie Jianwei was no ordinary man after all. His SSS-rank spiritual power ensured that he retained a sliver of cool rationality at every waking moment.
He could not confess.
Confessing would only shatter the dream world.
Cutting his losses in time, Xie Jianwei swallowed the words right back down.
Releasing his hold, Lu Li swung his long legs out of bed and began getting dressed with an impassive face.
Xie Jianwei: “…”
Casting a cold glance at him, Lu Li sneered, “President Xie certainly knows how to make the most of every asset.”
While Xie Jianwei was still contemplating how to respond, Lu Li delivered another barb: “I wonder what President Xie intends to bestow upon me this time?”
Gradually catching the rhythm of the role, Xie Jianwei looked up with a chilled expression.
Slipping into his shirt, Lu Li asked word by word, “A house? A luxury car? Or perhaps…”
Before finishing his sentence, he suddenly leaned down close to Xie Jianwei. With his shirt completely unbuttoned, a broad expanse of chest bared, he looked down at him with oppressive, towering dominance: “…Why not hand your Xie Consortium over to me?”
The thin curve of Lu Li’s lips carried an edge of wicked malice that was both familiar and foreign to Xie Jianwei.
Familiar because Xie Jianwei knew Lu Li wore this exact expression when facing those he loathed; foreign because Xie Jianwei had never once seen Lu Li direct such an expression toward him.
A nameless flame of irritation flared in his chest, and Xie Jianwei spat in a low voice, “Get out!”
Lu Li’s tone turned freezing as frost: “You’re the one who summoned me, and you’re the one telling me to get out. Xie Jianwei, haven’t you had enough!”
Xie Jianwei looked up at him. “I will call for you again in the future.”
Lu Li’s dark pupils contracted sharply.
Letting out a soft laugh, Xie Jianwei said leisurely, “I assumed three months was plenty to grow bored, but looking at it now… you are still quite satisfactory.”
Lu Li’s lips tightened into a razor-thin line.
Staring right at him, Xie Jianwei asked, “How about continuing this arrangement with me?”
Lu Li cut him off: “I will not come back.”
Xie Jianwei feigned regret: “Then forget it.”
Lu Li’s heart lurched violently.
Unsurprisingly, Xie Jianwei dropped the next blow: “Finding another bedmate like you shouldn’t be too difficult anyway.”
“Xie Jianwei!” Lu Li snarled in a low growl, pushed past the brink of his patience.
Xie Jianwei turned to look at him: “Oh, and I should thank you for teaching me how amazing—”
“Shut up.” Lu Li clamped his hand onto his cheek, his dark eyes swirling with the crimson savagery reserved for an enraged predator. Gritting his teeth, he spat, “I will come. As long as you want to fuck, I will satisfy you.”
Those final words were drenched in an aura of murderous, suffocating malice.
After Lu Li stormed out, Xie Jianwei sat in a daze for a long while.
He quietly withdrew from the dream world.
Yan Ke gasped, “My Lord, were you kicked out again?”
Coming to his senses, Xie Jianwei said, “I stepped out on my own.”
Yan Ke sighed in relief: “What happened? Did you run into a problem?”
Xie Jianwei possessed full autonomy when entering Lu Li’s dreams; he could awaken whenever he wished, though he could not stay away for too long. If severed for an extended period, the dream world might reset, complicating any re-entry.
Xie Jianwei shook his head. “Nothing.”
Puzzled, Yan Ke asked, “Then why did you come out?”
Blinking, Xie Jianwei gathered his thoughts: “I am heading right back in.”
Yan Ke was left completely baffled.
Returning to the dream, Xie Jianwei finally steadied his racing pulse.
He felt he might be a little twisted himself, actually finding the furious, provoked Lu Li devastatingly handsome just now.
It felt as though long ago on that barren planet, the feral, young Lu Li, isolated from civilization, reeking of vicious hostility and fierce as a wolf cub, had once directed this exact expression at him.
It was the posture of a beast driven by instinct, jealously guarding its meal.
A faint, imperceptible trace of amusement surfaced in Xie Jianwei’s eyes.
Truly, no matter how many years passed, Lu Li was still his Lu Li.
Adhering to the principle of adapting and elaborating, Xie Jianwei portrayed the purely hedonistic, heartless scumbag President Xie with flawless precision.
Lu Li came to meet him once a week.
Without exchanging pleasantries, they headed straight to bed.
In the past, Lu Li had always treated Xie Jianwei with infinite tenderness between the sheets, perpetually worried he might cause him discomfort. Now, however, harboring suppressed fury and miserable inside, he wanted nothing more than to make Xie Jianwei just as miserable.
Unfortunately for his intentions, this dream body of Xie Jianwei’s was absurdly sensitive and wanton. No matter how brutally Lu Li plowed into him, Xie Jianwei still ended up curling his toes in shuddering ecstasy.
Lu Li both adored this side of him to death and loathed it to the bone.
At the mere thought that if he had not shown up, Xie Jianwei might have used this exact wanton posture to seduce another man, jealousy burned him raw, wishing he could ravish him to death right on the mattress.
Gradually, Xie Jianwei began to comprehend what “bedroom kink” truly meant.
Although Lu Li had deliberately configured this body, one had to admit that under this kind of storyline, such a physique was terrifyingly fitting.
This “unhealthy” liaison dragged on for half a year.
Neither stayed idle during this period.
Between the sheets, Lu Li ravaged Xie Jianwei; out of bed, he ravaged the Xie Consortium.
Between the sheets, Xie Jianwei accommodated Lu Li; out of bed, he continued his wholehearted accommodation.
Lu Li had assigned himself a rather modest background; while technically from a wealthy family, compared to the colossal Xie Consortium, the Lu family was not worth mentioning.
However, Lu Li had always been a rogue by nature; prior to becoming Marshal, he was effectively a bandit chieftain.
The entire Flying Wing Army had called him Boss. It was fortunate Xie Jianwei was by his side, or else even after quelling the alien invasion, he never would have taken the Marshal’s mantle, likely turning around to become another interstellar pirate terrorizing the Milky Way instead.
Though this wild temperament had been largely reined in after becoming Marshal, inside the dream, it was laid completely bare.
Toppling the Xie Consortium through conventional channels would be arduous, but using unconventional tactics made it child’s play.
Coupled with Xie Jianwei covertly aiding him from the shadows, within a mere six months, the Lu family’s momentum surged like a ravenous tiger, while the Xie Consortium showed every sign of terminal decline.
In the blink of an eye, the end of the year approached. Xie Jianwei’s birthday fell on the day before Christmas.
The birthday banquet for the head of the Xie Consortium was naturally celebrated on a grand scale, buzzing with extraordinary clamor.
Inevitably, Xie Jianwei drank a fair amount of wine. Feeling lightheaded, he summoned his assistant to handle the guests while he stepped out onto the yacht’s deck for some fresh air.
Red wine had a delayed potency once exposed to the breeze; Xie Jianwei was not a native of ancient Earth after all, so he was genuinely oblivious to this quirk.
Catching the ocean wind did not sober him up in the slightest; instead, the dizziness compounded.
Vaguely, he sensed someone drawing near: “Jianwei?”
Though tipsy, Xie Jianwei was not drunk to the point of blacking out. Squinting at the newcomer, the face seemed rather unfamiliar.
Yet this person appeared to know him well: “I waited so long for you, I thought I wouldn’t get to see you tonight. Jianwei… I missed you so much.”
